I didn't have any problems with this product working. If I had read other reviews, I probably wouldn't have purchased it. However, I believe those that had a problem was because they used too thin of batter and their skillet was not hot enough.  I used a thicker batter and it did not run under it, cooked evenly and flipped as shown. I did make one mistake as I did not fill the ring to the capacity line so the second side did not get a nice brown color.

It worked!

You do have to have a very flat surface pan. The flat surface should be big enough for the size of the Flippin' Fantastic to fit on. A lot of frying pans have rounded edges.  The frying pan should be at less 11 inches. Even though the Flippin Fantastic isn't.

Extremely difficult to get to lie flat enough to prevent bleeding of batter. First time I tried it I ended up with one pancake the size of the skillet I was using. Be careful not to put too much batter into the rings. Use lower heat to prevent burning the bottom while cooking through enough to flip. Overall I'd rather do it the old fashioned way.

Don't waste your money

ABSOLUTE CRAP! MAYBE you could get pancakes if you used this thingie on a flat griddle, but even in my 12" pan, the tabs will not allow this to lay flat in a 12" pan, so pancake batter, even THICK pancake batter, simply runs under the side holes. Total mess. Pancake batter stuff all over this thing. Go watch the videos on YouTube. ROFL! Funny, but don't waste your money to find out what we already know!

TOTAL FAIL!

I should have read reviews on this product. Used it once. Made eggs with it and went to turn them and dripped all over the pan. Had to throw them out.
Did not bother making pancakes with it.

Waste Of Time & Money

You can't get the item to lie flat. Thus the batter seeps out the bottom. I would not purchase this again.

Do not buy

I am very disappointed with this product.  Does lay down properly.  Pancakes don't cook properly.  Extremely poor product.  I regret spending the money for this.
