I’ve been listening to the various iterations of Brian’s music since high school. Everybody knew he had it going on then he has got it going on now. So glad to see he made it back to the stage. He has so much to share. The solo pieces were great music by a truly gifted guitar player.
Brian put on a great show. He is still great! His choice of bass players and drummers were perfect.
Saw Brian Setzer at Foxwoods in CT last Friday night with Juan on drums and Chris on bass and it was an excellent concert.......lots of Rockabilly faves ...... have listened to Setzer for over 40 years now and last saw them in 2019 in Maine . Wish we could have danced more but were asked to stay near our seats by security and I know they have a job to protect but Brian has fans that think the world of him and would hopefully do no harm . I was 4th row this show and front row by stage 4 years ago. So glad Brian is back doing what he does and about time for Hall of Fame for him and Lee and Jim !
We need a Christmas show at Foxwoods now!! Or a Brian Setzer oldie show to bring back all his oldies!
All I have to say is that Brian Setzer was the absolute best concert that I have ever been to. The sound was great, you could understand him and it was just superb. Would definitely love to see him again. Bring the Stray Cats to Foxwood.
As long-time fans, for whatever the reason(s), we have never seen Brian do a Rockabilly Riot configuration...we have seen him and The Orchestra (BSO) at Foxwoods many times and were not all disappointed with this 3-man band: no drum machines, no processed vocals and no synthesizers...just the 3 musicians playing at the top of their game lead by the criminally under-rated Brian himself. Not that "winning"is everything, but it is completely inexplicable that this guys is not in the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame (???). Clearly, we were thrilled to see him performing live once again after a 4-year absence due to a very scary ear issue - and the dreaded pandemic - side-lined him from live performances in any way. Overstated, we are waiting - in any configuration - the next tour. Until then, the new LP/CD will more than sufffice...

Brian is The best representation of the 50's era fun music in my opinion!! Exceptional musician, awesome time! I wish I lived back then!
