This painting was always a mystery to me,how it happened,that's what i love about it.The subject was my supermarket shopping receipt. BUYERS NOTE: This work will be shipped rolled in a Secure tube. Stretcher bars NOT included.Painting will need to be carefully re-stretched.Includes certificate of authenticity. An enigmatic and richly layered painting with washes and veils of gold and purple paint over layered with a barrage of wonderful,loosely painted white brush marks.The strange symbols in the painting are merely there by chance,a device so to speak,to help hold the painting together.
