Love, love, love, Musiq but he struggled through the show. This is the second time I saw him, the first was a few years ago but the results are the same. I understand the five-star ratings because we love his music and remember when Musiq was Musiq. Mr. Benet on the other hand....tore that stage down. His stage presence, singing, and audience awareness are top-tier. I would see him over and over. Dear Mr. Benet get your headlining tour going.
I had a great time both artist were amazing, The event was well organized and well attend.
I 1st want to say. I loved Eric Benet (I just wish he had did more of his songs). Unfortunately Music did a lot of new music...he did 15 mins of scatt and he did not do all of his classics which is what I wanted to hear. A lot of people left early and it was disappointing. I will try and catch Eric when he is performing somewhere by himself.
We left on his second songđ. That was Eric Benetâs show.
Eric Bonet was great. His mix as far as old and new material was A+. The crowd loved him. Musiq Soulchild was completely opposite. He force feed the new music wayyy to early and lost the crowd and people (literally). Musiq gets a C- only because his old music still kicks.
Eric Benet is not only an excellent singer. He is also a comedian. Music Soulchild was brilliant. My wife and I had a fabulous time.....
Musiq had awesome hits but his performance wasn't that good
The show was all that an then some. They gave a helluva performance. If I had the chance to do it all over I would.
I will forever pay to see amazing artists with great catalogs & overall great at what they do. Eric Benet & Musiq Soulchild were amazing!!! They kept the crowd engaged & the show flowed with little to no interruptions or delays.
His portion, vocally, was below average. I think he makes great music, music for the radio but, not a good singing artist. Eric Benetâs performance was great. I was amazed that he can actually singâŠvery well. I would definitely go back to see Eric perform but, not Muziq Soulchild.
