Simple and with excellent sound quality
The Bose CineMate 10 is extremely easy to install and configure. The speaker bar is reasonably unobtrusive, the subwoofer/Acoustimass unit fits nicely next to television table without consuming much space. I connected the digital optical audio interface from the television unit and attached an Apple Airport Express base station's analog audio output. This produces exactly what I wanted: I can stream music from iPhone, iPad, or Mac without having to have the television set on and it automatically plays.. And when I have no other audio playing and turn on the television, it just works. Perfect! The CineMate 10 remote is utterly simple and exactly what I wanted. Power, Sound up/down, and Mute ... nothing else is needed. The bass control on the back of the subwoofer is a little hard to reach, but you only need to set it once. Overall, the system works just as I wanted, makes superb, rich sound, and simplifies everything. If your needs are simple like mine, you can't go wrong with it.Verified purchase: YesCondition: New

Do dinosaurs still walk the earth?!
After setting up my Bose CineMate 15 system, I put On Jurassic Park and fast forwarded it to just before the T Rex escapes its enclosure: this is in my opinion the definitive test for a home theater system. A lot of BASS for the $
I researched up and down on sound bars with a sub. After the research and sound tests of sound bars under $400 this Bose blew everyone else out of the water. I'd suggest Vizio if this is a little out of your reach, but so worth the extra $100 or so. Only con for this is no bluetooth, but they make a adapter that I found cheapest at HHGREG for $38 and it ships free. Set up was fast and it's nice that the sub is adjustable to your liking. Bose=quality sound. This system is no different. This is of course is nowhere equal to the thousand of dollars audiophile lover's package but all I can say is that it does sound good.
