This was for my grand daughter and I love the way mega blocks always pays such close attention to details.  The blocks interlock without force and are very children friendly. Great gift for any lil one that enjoys creating with blocks. [This review was collected as part of a promotion.]

This is a super fun playset that my 4 year old loves! The only downside is the characters are stationary, don't move at all. The set is quality made and very colorful. Great product

My 5 year old granddaughter loved this toy, especially since it was Shimmer and Shine and she already had other parts of the collection. She and her sister loved the light up lantern. I found directions easy and straightforward. My only complaint was the stickers, especially the ones in the blocks, were difficult to place. A storage case or bag would abe great addition. Really Cute!

I got this mega bloke set its a Nickelodeon Shimmer and shine set and my daughter really likes it she's played with it multiple times since we've got it and it's only been a day and it was very easy to put together the pieces are very good size and the instructions were very clear on how to do it so I would recommend this if you were trying to buy any type of Legos or blocks [This review was collected as part of a promotion.]

Shimmer and shine mega bloks genie market

We have a large collection of mega bloks and at age four, my oldest daughter was starting to loose interest in. I was excited to find that adding the Genie Market sparked an interest in building blocks again. 

Her immediate impression of the package was fantastic, she was ecstatic because she is a simmer and shine fan. She didn't realize this was something that we would build until she opened it up because this is her first set with instructions to construct. At first that was confusing to her and she didn't understand that the point of the set was to build, take down, reconfigure and put back together again. 

Once she caught on that putting it together was actually pretty fun, she was all about following the instructions and putting it back together. She added some of her bloks from her collection, added some other accessories and other toys so they could have friends and pets. Her imagination really took off as she transformed it into a whole little village. 

I'm really happy with this set. We've had it for long enough that the initial new factor has worn off and she has revisited it regularly to play with and "build her bloks". I look forward to adding to her collection. I really don't have any criticism other than a few of the stickers being a challenge to apply. [This review was collected as part of a promotion.]

I think the set is adorable and my daughter loves it. It's recommended age is 3+. If it's meant for a 3 year old to be able to put together by their self, it would be pretty difficult. The directions are picture by picture, and were easy enough for my 5 year old to go by, even though she needed help getting the stickers on straight. Super cute

Mattel

My 6 yr old was excited to try and put this toy together by herself, but she did still need some help. The stickers are near impossible to place in the correct spot and we were missing a block. Overall, she enjoyed the toy, and the baby loves playing with the shimmer and shine dolls. I don't like how their bodies come apart. I get that it's a "blocks" toy, but I think the dolls should be intact. I also like how the toy lights up. [This review was collected as part of a promotion.]

Enjoyable, but some flaws

Mattel showed it shipped 8/28/17.  Upon contacting Fisher Price on 9/7/17, they determined it was never shipped.  The product finally arrived on 9/11/17.  We attempted to put it together and it is very poorly made.  The dolls would not totally snap together and some of the pieces wouldn't even snap together.  Not sure how they would expect a child between the ages of 3+ to snap it together when an adult couldn't.  I am very disappointed with the quality of this product. I did contact Fisher Price and they were very surprised and offered to send another one out.  At this time I would not recommend this product. [This review was collected as part of a promotion.]
