Air Fryer that makes cooking simple and healthy
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. My fiances mom is into gadgets from as seen on TV and this is what turned us onto the air fryer. Normally we are not really too impressed by those type of gadgets, but once in a blue moon, she stumbles upon something evolutionary. And it is not surprising that the air fryer is found at most every retail store and seems to be one of the most popular cooking items and for good reason. Her mom only has 2.5 liter air fryer, so the extra cooking space for this really accommodates bigger portions especially since my fiance likes to cook for several days for work. We were able to cook a variety of items once we first got this unit, including dumplings, green beans, steak, fish, pork. The options are really limitless. The technology behind it is that it circulates the heat like an oven and it is able to cook at high temperatures without any oil or extra ingredients. However, we normally pre marinade our meats and for the deep fried batter items, we like to sprinkle some oil on top like a rub, so that it fries and crisps more evenly. Not to say that it doesn't without oil but it is a tad drier. I would say potatoes, tater tots, and the steak came out perfect and similarly to stovetop cooking. However, for the green beans, it was a bit more chewy and the dumplings seemed a bit more dried, so more of a borderline steamed lightly fried texture. Overall, this really aided me in my cooking adventures because just having to clean pans and constantly watching it so it doesn't overcook really made cooking burdensome for me but this invention made it more accessible since you just set it and forget it. Not literally but practically since all you need is to adjust the temperature and then flip midway through. And the cleaning up for the kitchen is normally assigned to me, and only having the base of the unit and the fryer to clean up was a cinch. The thirty minute timer and auto off functions makes the task of cooking more at ease while integrating safety minded functionality. Some recommendations is to include touch button and digital timers just cause it's more fitting of modern tech gadgets. However, it gets the job done in its form and provides a healthier way of living with practically oil free meals.

great intro air fryer
||Posted . Owned for 1.5 years when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I got my air fryer during a Black Friday special two years ago, because I heard great things about air fryers, but I didn't want to spend too much in case I didn't like it. But I love it! I heat up everything in it- fried chicken, french fries, breakfast pastries, appetizers- and everything comes out crispy! This model is small, so we sometimes have to cook in batches, so we might get a bigger one. This one is really easy to clean and has worked great without any issues so far.

Great fryer!
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. My review for the fryer is 5 stars! So far, we have used it to warm up pizza. We warm up 4-5 pieces at a time, set it up for 10 min and wow... you get a nicely warmed/even crispy pizza, we won’t be warming up pizza in the microwave anymore! Takes much less time than a regular oven. The next project is to make sweet potatoes fries. Will update the review after we do it! But so far, we highly recommend the fryer. However, I don’t know if we got a refurbished item from BB or what happened, but after returning the first fryer because a piece by the door/drawer you pull out to put the food in, wasn’t attached properly. Then it took them 14 days to send a replacement!! When I opened the “new” replacement, I noticed several small scratches all over the fryer. It definitely didn’t look brand spanking new to us. I didn’t return that one since we had already waited long enough for it. We thought that if it worked properly, we would keep it. But I am very disappointed at BB’s service. An employee even suggested for me to glue that loose part of the first one I had bought. Seriously???

Best steak EVER!
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Sure, it does fries and chicken nuggets. But, I made the best steak ever ... with no greasy stove top, no standing over a hot frying pan, no lingering odors, and my kitchen stayed cool! 400° for 6 mins. on each side. Let it rest for 5 mins., then enjoy! Did I mention...NO GREASY STOVE OR COUNTERTOPS!!! I would advise getting at least this size 3.5L or bigger. I plan to get a 2nd smaller air fryer for sides.

Outstanding!
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I was worried I wasn't gonna know how to use an air fryer but it's surprisingly extremely easy. I'm trying to cook at home more instead of buying take out all the time and this fryer is fast, easy and healthy. I made tofu nuggets with it and it came out amazing.

Great air fryer
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. This is my first air fryer and the things I like about it are that it's easy to use and clean, it came with a book of recipes, and as far as cook times it's great because it doesnt take long to make a meal at all. I had been wanting one for a while but the prices were too high for me so when I saw this one on sale at Bestbuy I had to get it and I'm glad I did. The only thing I would like is for it to be bigger.

Q: QuestionHow many pieces of chicken will this model fry?
Asked by Tess.
- A:Answer The basket capacity for this fryer is 7.7 pounds, so this can hold chicken weighing up to that point.
Answered by CommunityAnswer
Q: QuestionWhat is difference between analog and air fryer?
Asked by Sherry.
- A:Answer I think you mean analog and digital controls, analog would just be knobs you turn, temp and timer, digital would have push buttons and a display that tells you time and temp. I like the knobs you turn, less chance of failure.
Answered by Mike
Q: QuestionDoes anyone regret not getting the digit display? Thanks in advance!
Asked by Jordon.
- A:Answer No. I am just as happy with the knobs as I would be with the digital. Most important to me is how well the machine works.

Q: QuestionHow much electricity in avg dollars does it use? Examples please and would it cost less than a typical oven to accomplish the same cooking result?
Asked by Yoed.
- A:Answer At my cost of 8.16 cents per Kwh, this unit would cost 9.8 cents per 30 minutes at the highest temperature setting (.0816 * 1.2). I think my full size oven would cost much more than that. I think this unit would be economical for small meals. I hope this helps you.

Q: QuestionHow do you turn it on?
Asked by Anonymous.
- A:Answer plug the unit in, spray oil spray (sparlingly) into cooking basket, set the temp. control on the top to cook temp, Place food in basket in such a way to allow maximum air flow to all parts of what you are cooking. Then rotate the front know to 1/2 the cooking time recommended - then remove basket and shake up or turn over the food and set timer to the second half of cook time.

Q: QuestionDo both light suppose to stay on when it’s cooking
Asked by Anonymous.
- A:Answer I noticed that when you first turn it on, both lights turn on also, as the time progresses from cooking, the top light (orange) will go off and on as the convection is working. Have my Air Fryer three weeks and still working great. Hope that helps.

Q: QuestionCan you fry chicken in it? French fries?
Asked by Diane.
- A:Answer Yes. It makes the best wings ever. We love it. We’ll never go back to deep frying.
Answered by Hank
Q: QuestionIs it normal to have to readjust the basket several times to get it to fit into the unit properly,?
Asked by Anonymous.
- A:Answer I have to push one side to get it closed fully, I can live with that for the price of the unit.
