Not sure about the deep fryer, but for sure the Crock Pot and Pressure Cooker.

But according to the user manual, it is not recommended to use it as a fryer.  it says " never deep fry or pressure fry in the cooker with oil".

I need this unit to replace my crock pot, my pressure cooker, AND my deep fryer. Will this piece do it ?

The Instant Pot is awesome. For a working family like mine a good quality family dinner is not always an easy task to complete. The Instant Pot cuts down cook times and is a lifesaver in the kitchen. Cooking a full roast is something that would typically take hours but with the Instant Pot the entire prep and cooking takes about an hour. I would highly recommend this product to anyone who would be willing to listen.

I have only owned my Instant Pot a week and have already cooked a pot roast with veg in 50 minutes and a whole chicken in 25 minutes. I've also cooked chicken breasts from frozen in 25 minutes. It's great, especially with the delay start feature!

Present for my daughter.  She loves it and uses it all the time. Amazing all you can make in short periods of time !!

Quick dinner for busy moms

This is a versatile pot and I'm sure it will be used a lot. Made a tasty pot roast in 45 minutes and am planning sesame chicken as the next meal. Very happy with this purchase.

I love this pot it has been everything advertised and much more. It was wonderful and easy to use while I was working.

Instant Pot fabulous

Our first recipe was beef stew.  I loved the fact that we could brown the meat in the pot, eliminating the use of 2 pots!  The meal was ready very quickly & delicious with very tender meat! Very easy clean up!

5 qt.  Instapot

This is a gift for a young adult. It was a specfic request for the Instant Pot brand. As they are vegan, this will serve to prepare many dishes from dried beans and rice. I did my research looking for the best deal and size. Walmart's Black Friday deals answered my call. It is also the best size for single meals. Great deal!

Instant Pot for Vegan!

So we purchased this as a gift for my sister-in-law. It was on back order for an extra week so it took a bit longer to arrive at her doorstep (free shipping 5⭐️S) However, when it did arrive she planned on using it for a meal for some friends that were coming over. She was a bit worried about cooking times because they were so short. She thought if this thing doesn't work we won't have anything to eat when they get here. That wasn't what happened!  She said the roast, potatoes and carrots were excellent!  The meat was tender and the vegetables were cooked to perfection. So I'm gonna say she really likes it!

Have used the pot once to make ham and bean soup.  It worked as expected.  It appears to be built quite well.  The stainless steel removable pot is a nice heavy gage.  You will have to remember when looking at cooking times on recipes that they generally don't include the times to get the device up to temperature and to cool down enough to open the pressure cooker.  It is nice to be able to saute and then cook in the same pot.

Generally pleased.  Well built and easy to use.

Its says it holds 5qt but it is so small inside. The inner max line is almost half of the inner stainless steel pot so you cannot put the max 5qt of contents. Sorry but this would have to go back. I am now looking for when the 6qt is available.
