The location is perfect for visiting Bryce, it's right down the street from the entrance of the park. Our room was clean, comfortable, had useful amenities like a fridge and a microwave, and fee breakfast included was a big plus. We appreciated that it was pet friendly and there were areas near our building we could walk our dog.

We were a few miles from the park entrance so it was very quiet. We could see stars at night. The attached restaurant was excellent—ate 2 suppers and a lunch there. Everything was homemade

The rustic property is 5 minutes from the entrance to Bryce Canyon. It’s a decent value for the price. The linens and the room were clean. There was a refrig in the room. I loved the local wall sized picture on the back wall. There is a free basic breakfast.

Very well finished interior! Cabin was spotless, well furnished and very comfy and cozy. There are a number of cabin-style properties in Tropic. They may look similar from the outside, but this one was absolutely outstanding on the inside.

The property was clean, spacious and most of all, the owners thought of everything that would make a guest’s stay comfortable and convenient. I would definitely look to stay here again if we are in the area to explore Bryce Canyon and beyond.

We toured all five Utah's parks over two trips this past summer and fall. Zion is our favorite but Bryce is a close second. Both have awesome scenery, one looking up and one looking down. We are "geriatric" hikers, found both the Bryce zig-zag trail to the bottom and back up, and the Zion trail to Angel's landing, reasonably well maintained and challenging. We were on a schedule so basically had one day (after an early morning run from St. George) to take in the marvelous views and do our hike before checking in to Ruby's Inn. Convenient, reasonable, and memorable, a find for two seniors on a budget.

This is one of the most beautiful areas.
This is one of the most beautiful areas. The hotel was clean, and pleasent. We had the biggest continental breakfast ever in a very nice barn.
There was inside pool and hot tub but we didn't have time to enjoy we spent most of our time in the national park.

The room and facilities were NOTHING like the photos.
The room and facilities were NOTHING like the photos. The bathroom loo seat was broken, the room itself was tiny with little room to walk about.
The quality of furnishings was poor.
The decor was tired to the point of being worn out. The room had clearly not been refurbished since the 1970s and was NOTHING like the photos which were clearly misleading.
The entire experience was poor. There was no option for breakfast and calling the restaurant a “restaurant” was a stretch. More like a cheap cafe.

Amazing!
Amazing! I've always wanted to see Bryce and it doesn't disappoint. The views are incredible. Took a trail ride to the bottom on the canyon and the guide was very knowledgeable of the area and made the ride fun.

It was beautiful wish I could have stayed longer.
It was beautiful wish I could have stayed longer. Hotel was great right outside the entrance of the park. Trails are moderate and family friendly, must be prepared for the hikes, proper shoes and water. Sun screen also.

Stupendous scenery.
Stupendous scenery. Great place to get exercise while enjoying the scenery. Best if you feel comfortable walking/hiking. Rim trail is fairly easy, going down into the canyon, requires hiking back up and also gives exposure to steep edges - make sure you are comfortable with that. It is well worth hiking down - but you need to be comfortable with the steepness. In winter be prepared with traction cleats for your boots or snowshoes. I wore snowshoes on two trails and was glad I had them. When the wind blows in winter - it is extremely cold - be prepared with enough layers and proper clothing.
The best part of this hotel is that it's located literally 5 minutes from the entrance to the park which is awesome. Also, you can use a great pool in Ruby's Inn across the street. Same for the breakfast, it's available in Ruby's Inn and it's just perfect (definitely recommend taking a room with breakfast included, but come early to get a seat). Also, a hint for people who like local beer - there are very cheap awesome local Utah beers in the gas station nearby. Room was ok.
They had a very welcoming lobby with a large fireplace with a fire going. ( it was a very cold day!) The room was large and clean with a microwave and refrigerator. Ruby's had a decent restaurant (The only one open in the area) and the breakfast buffet was pretty good. The hotel is located very near Bryce Canyon National Park and perfect for visiting the canyon.
Right outside Bryce Canyon National Park, plenty of parking, great lobby area to decompress with a small selection of snacks and necessities. Free breakfast is expansive and appetizing. Hotel has laundry facilities, a meeting room for groups, and an outdoor pool. Staff is friendly and accommodating.
The room was really big, clean an de bed very comfy.
In the morning they‘ve a breakfast buffet and several warm and cold dishes (beagle, eggs, french toast, cereals, sausage, fruits etc.). All I tried was really good an the stuff really friendly.
The hotel is very close to the Bryce Canyon.
The facilities in general were pretty great, with the store, a pool, incredible location and a nice staff. There is a shuttle right into Bryce Canyon directly in front of the hotel so you don't really even need to use your vehicle much at all once you're there.
The room was very spacious and the beds were comfortable. Easy check-in/check-out and the staff was nice. 10 minute drive to the closest town and the Bryce Canyon National Park, which was awesome.
We stayed at this hotel on our trip to Bryce Canyon National Park. You can't beat the price and proximity to the park. The pool and breakfast was a great plus with the family!
Loved the double sink vanity in the bathroom. Wish all hotels had that feature. Right on the shuttle bus line for Bryce Canyon NP, and walkable to evening dining options.
The hotel is very close to Bryce Canyon and there is a Mexican restaurant right across the parking lot. Hotel is very clean. Sea and coffee available in the lobby.
Good breakfast nearby. Good location for Bryce Canyon. We are very grateful to the young man at the desk who brought us much needed bandages and first aid.
