This 4-seat table can easily be extended into a 6-seat table using the included self-storing leaf.

The self-storing leaf is easy to insert to extend the table and just as easy to remove and tuck away under the table top when your guests have gone home.

The white table top has a smooth, flawless look that is easy to clean.

Legs and underframe are made of sturdy, solid hardwood.

Nice flexible tableLinda SWe purchased this table because it's extendable. I like that it doesn't have a seam unless extended to it's full length of 84 inches. I didn't give it 5 stars for two reasons: 1) A little challenging to put together unless you have small hands; 2) The corners are sharp. Would have preferred slight rounding for a nicer look. 4

The slide out, however, was a bit tight at first - in fact, almost impossible to slide, but seems to be okay now. The finish looks good - not using any cleaner on it, just a microfiber cloth. Material

What is particleboard?

Particleboard is made from recycled wood and sawmill leftovers – so wood pieces with the wrong shade, woodchips and sawdust become a resource instead of possibly being discarded. We use boards for things like bookcases, bed frames, sofas and kitchen frames. To protect from wear and moisture, we apply varnish, veneer or foil that adds to the furniture's look.

Since the legs follow when the table is pulled out, it has the same expression when both large and small and plenty of room for chairs around the table.
