Perfect for a corner location of your garden, the highly versatile and attractive 10ft x 10ft Ardcastle Log Cabin from Shire will enhance your outdoor space in style. Providing an ideal space for use as a home office, play room, or place to escape to for some peace and quiet, this outbuilding will make a well-used addition to your garden space.
This contemporary outdoor building combines premium quality, practical design, and a pleasing aesthetic. Built from slow grown, high grade European pine, the structure will last through years of use. The 28mm thick interlocking log boards combine to create a solid, robust build, and the roof and floor are made from strong OSB timber for durability. What's more, the floor bearers are pressure treated to ensure a longer life.
Many attributes of a traditional summerhouse have also been incorporated into the design, making this a great building for a variety of outdoor spaces. Featuring Georgian glazing within the, angled, double doors and two opening windows, this building will certainly make an attractive garden feature. In addition, the glazing has secure quality mortise and tenon joinery, and draft excluders, allowing you to keep cosy whilst enjoying the natural daylight seeping in. Made to be storm resistant, this log cabin is perfect for use all year round.
The untreated nature of the wood requires you to paint or stain it immediately after installation, but also allows you to choose just the right colour to suit your space. An example of a stylish colour option is shown within the images to demonstrate a look you can achieve.
Assembly: All fixings, mineral roof felt and assembly instructions are provided. Shire log cabins are supplied as individual log boards that require length by length assembly, building upwards from the floor. Before you assemble your building, you will need a base which is flat and level to a sufficient size. Grass, soil or gravel are not sufficient as they will move with the weight of a building. You should also make allowance for the roof overhang and for access around the outside during construction and subsequent treatment.

Delivery is kerb side. Shire's drivers are very helpful and will always try to leave the product as conveniently positioned as possible. However, it is entirely at the driver’s discretion whether or not it is suitable to drive onto your property.

Guarantee
All Shire products are guaranteed for 1 year from delivery. Additionally the products will have a 10 year rot resistance guarantee. Both elements of the guarantee require compliance with the manufacturers guidelines for assembly, usage and regular preservative treatment. These conditions are made clear in the company's assembly instructions.

Great summerhouse
Bought this six months ago, it’s perfect in our small garden. The instructions were very good and we followed them with out any issues.

Low price equals low quality
The wood is very dry, arrived warped chipped and cracked, poorly designed, instructions are borderline impossible to follow and most of them not even relevant as they show roof tiles when felt is the only option, the parts aren't all labelled so makes it hard to figure what parts go where, and what parts were labelled were done in biro so was hard to see after treating and painting

In the UK you have a legal right, under the Consumer Contracts Regulations June 2014, to cancel your order within fourteen (14) days following your receipt of the goods. Refunds for orders cancelled under the provisions of the Consumer Contracts Regulations will be processed in accordance with your legal rights.
You may not cancel orders for the following types of products:

- Customised or bespoke Products
- Anything of a nature that for hygiene or associated health and safety - this includes the Outdoor Spas, Mattresses and Divan Sets
- Fresh food
- Perishable items including live plants and Trees
Under the Consumer Contracts Regulations June 2014 you have a duty to take reasonable care of Products whilst they are in your possession. You will receive a full refund of the purchase price of the Products.

Contact our Customer Services team who will be able to arrange a collection for your item with the supplier. Please ensure that you provide your order number when contacting customer services.
If you are not at home when we try to collect we reserve the right to deduct from your refund or charge your credit card the direct costs to us of the failed return in accordance with the Consumer Protection (Distance Selling) Regulations 2000.
