- A: AnswerPurple switches are clicky and loud, while red switches are linear and silent. Reds are .5 faster then the purples, which are 1.5. So reds are better for gaming, and so are purples.

A: AnswerRAZER optical switches, which actuate with light. There are two configurations for this keyboard, either clicky optical (purple), or linear (red). The current keyboard configuration you are viewing is the clicky optical (purple) This might be limited depending if Best Buy has them for options though.Answered by typhoon

this is by far the best keyboard I've ever used. the. keys are very light and clicky. it is so satisfying to type on! the colors schemes are crazy, you can have it light up a certain way and react to your key strokes its amazing. the quality is also phenominal. top tier brand that does not disappoint. fully interchangeable switches, the possibilities are endless. great for gaming, super responsive. even when I'm not gaming, I find myself looking for reasons to type on this, whether it be to search the web, write reviews, or chat on twitch, this thing is very pleasing to the hands. love it 10/10
