My son was very pleased with his Lego Ferrari

I have been a fan of the Lego Speed Champions series for some time now. This Ferrari F40 is awesome. Slightly larger than the usual speed champions series cars. Easy to build.

Loved the F40

This is a great build. Fun and Easy. This car looks great complete. It's a great add to the Speed Champion line.

Sweet build

LEGO Speed Champions Ferrari F8 Tribute.  275 pieces.  Beautiful red car and build (a decal sheet is also included, but, as usual, I refuse to use the stickers).  The mini figure's head has two different expressions, happy and calm, and includes an optional black hair piece if you want a helmet-less look--I appreciate those different display options (there's also a wrench accessory for him and an alternate set of hubcaps for the car).  The wheels roll freely (vroom, vroom!), the steering wheel turns, and the mirrors are adjustable, but, that's it.  An opening hood and/or doors would have been neat.  This attractive vehicle comfortably sits two mini figures, as long as their heads aren't too tall.

It doesn't happen often, but, right out of the box, my set was missing one small, two-stud, flat, black brick--I contacted LEGO's customer service and they sent me a replacement for free, which is great customer service!

Other than the missing brick, which got get corrected, I'm pretty pleased with this set, and that's coming from a guy that doesn't drive or even care about cars much.  4.5/5.0

Great LEGO vehicle kit

Great value and a fun build overall. The final product looks great as well, the scale does better here than the one seater Speed Champions builds.

The only build and final product I've liked more in the Speed Champions line is the Audi Quattro (the boxy of LEGO lends itself better in the end to the rally car) but this F8 Tributo build is fantastic. Interesting build methods and the final product looks smooth and great on display. I would recommend this build to anyone looking at Speed Champions

My 2nd Favorite Speed Champions Build

If I were reviewing this solely on Alessandro's hair it would be a 6 stars out of 5. It truly pains me that I have to knock one star off though for reasons I will explain down below...

It's because Alessandro's hair is so amazing the top of the car can't close when he's sitting in it with his magnificent hair on (see attached picture)!!!

Oh the magnificent hair!

Part of the front by the headlights wont stay on because a portion of the Lego sticks up about a 16th of an inch too high. It was still a fun build and an easy fix with a couple other Lego pieces.

Fun build

Lego car was $70.    All other vehicles with similar quantities of legos are half that price.
My mistake was not checking out the size and count of Legos after grandson had picked 
it out online.

Overpriced

When outordered these online it was 38 and now it's $16 this is crazy I'm gonna return this item

Ordered a Ferrari Lego set and the box was REALLY damaged. The legos weren't even in plastic bags, and it had a sticker on it for $19.99! I paid $51 for it! DO NOT buy legos from them.
