I made bacon on the griddle and I used the bigger skillet for velveeta mac n cheese in the pellet grill! I seasoned the skillet before hand and to my surprise, there was no stickiness in the skillet and everything cooked amazing! This is my very first set of iron skillet equipment and I'm glad I made the choice to buy these!

Wonderful price and wonderful product!

The Ozark Cast Cast Iron Pans are a real treat for me. I grew up in the south and The Ozark Cast Iron Pans made me nostalgic as I fried up bacon for the family this morning. Since I am cooking for 5 people, it was great to cook breakfast in the 3 Ozark Cast Iron pans, the way my parents/grandparents cooked in my youth. My gram always said, "be good to your cast iron and it will last you a lifetime". The Ozark Cast Iron Pans will be in my family forever. I still have those cast iron pans passed down from my grand to my mom, from my mom to me and my sister and now I will pass The Ozark Cast Iron Pans down as well. The Ozark Cast Iron Pans are sturdy, efficient heat holders and cook very evenly. I am excited to add the Ozark Cast Iron Pans to my pantry. I would suggest that if you love cooking, The Ozark Cast Iron Pans are a great buy and will be an essential part of your pan collection. I Am A Fan of the Ozark Cast Iron Pans because the small cast iron pan is great for small portions, the big cast iron pan is great for large portions and the griddle pan is wonderful because, like the two frying pans it can be used on top of the stove, in the oven, or even on the outside grill. What other pans are as versatile as, The Ozark Cast pans? The Ozark Cast Iron Pans are a tremendous buy. I wholeheartedly recommend The Ozark Cast Iron Pans. The Ozark Cast Iron Pans are exceptional and will last you a lifetime!!!

Ozark Cast Iron Pans Remind Me of My Youth

I was excited to get this set as I can always use more pans in the kitchen. I didn’t do enough research about cast iron because they rusted over really fast and then I had to spend a lot of time scrubbing and they still look bad and i have only used them for a few days. The pros are that they cook really evenly and the pans are sturdy and not breakable.

Decent cooking set

Measures:
8” skillet – 6 ½” wide cooking surface, 1 ¾” deep, 1 ¼” w x 3 ¾” long handle. 
10.5” skillet – 8” wide cooking surface, 2” deep, 1 ¼” w x 4 1/4” long handle. 
Griddle – flat cooking surface 7 ¾” wide x 15 ¾” long, handle to handle 20 7/8” long, handle hole for hand 1 ¼” deep x 3 ½” wide. Drain measures ¾” deep x 16 ¾” long. Ridged surface has 21 grates spaced ¾” apart. Weighs 8.2 lbs.

Cooked eggs, turkey sausage and pancakes on the grill. Sprayed with cooking oil before cooking. See pics for how much egg was left behind! We should have wiped a vegetable-based oil on the surface before cooking. Cooking went great, pans certainly heated up quickly. The size is perfect for our gas grill’s two grates. Does not come with handle mitts (oven mitts for the handles). Definitely needed as the handles etc were super hot and took a while to cool down.

Cleaned with water and a nylon scrubber brush. The skillets fit into the sink. The griddle did not. 
The weight of the griddle – I had to use both hands to carry it. I could easy carry the skillets with one hand, but that griddle is heavy! I weighed all three on our bathroom scale. I could not get the skillets to register, but the griddle weighs 8.2 pounds! These would be heavy to carry in a backpack. 

Overall, cooked up and cleaned up great. A pan perfect for the grill. We’re going to use the griddle to make thin crust pizza and the skillet to make deep dish pizza on the grill this weekend!

heavy, easy clean, does not come with handle mitts

We love Ozark products and couldn't wait to try this set. I have experience cooking with cast iron. We use it when camping, outdoor fun, as well as at home. The skillet is wide enough to fit across 2 burners on our stove. We were able to use it to cook pancakes and eggs at the same time. Perfect to make meals without one part getting cold. or to make a larger amount of pancakes, eggs, bacon, whatever you'd like. The other side of the griddle is ribbed, perfect for making those great grill marks on steaks. The cast iron is easy to clean. It stayed nonstick for the duration of our cooking. If well kept they will last for years. The 2 pans come in 10 and 8 in. size. They are lighter than other cast iron skillets we have used in the past, and feel to be a little thinner. They still work great. Similarly to the griddle if well kept, I am sure they will last a long while. I do recommend getting a handle cover, as the handles get hot along with the pan. Or use a hot pad when grabbing the handle. This is common with all cast iron products.

Great nonstick pans. Durable, will last forever.

This set of Cast Iron Cookware, by Ozark Trail Outdoor 
Equipment, is so amazing! I absolutely love cooking with 
Cast Iron, it’s so versatile. You can cook in the oven, on 
the stovetop, whether it’s gas, electric or glass cooktop, 
or on an open fire, charcoal, wood or gas. I use my Cast 
Iron Cookware all the time, at least once every day to fry
my egg for breakfast. I use my skillet to make grilled 
cheese, chili, and definitely fried chicken, to name just 3 
of my own personal uses. This Cookware not only comes 
with the 2 skillets (8” & 10 1/2”), it also comes with a 2 
sided griddle (19 1/2” x 9”). The griddle has a ridged side
for bacon, veggies, etc, and a drainage space on one side.
Flip it over and I have a smooth griddle, perfect for pan-
cakes, french toast, pizza and so many other things. Cast 
Iron distributes heat evenly throughout the pan and once
it gets hot, it stays hot. My cookware is so easy to clean, 
I use a sprinkle of kosher salt and a piece of chainmail
and scrub until clean.

I love the fact that I can make my Grandma’s recipe and 
bake cornbread the exact way she did, in a cast iron skil-
let in the oven. It was and is so good! Recently I found a 
recipe for Cast Iron Skillet Macaroni and Cheese and
oh-my-goodness, it was delicious! 

Cast Iron cookware lasts forever and is the Greatest!

Cast Iron Skillet Set

I recently started cooking more with cast irons, and I must say I love the way the food comes out. I made steaks and the sear on them was perfect, I also love I can just stick it in the oven with the pan. These pans are great quality for the price, I recommend them. Although it says it is pre-season I recommend you season them yourself for that true non stick aspect. I love making pancakes on the griddle.

Nice cooking set

This is a pretty good set, all of them are lighter than I’d expect for cast iron. They come pre seasoned which is helpful! They do have sort of a bumpy texture, other cast iron I own is smooth. I love cooking veggies on the grill piece. Overall I like these and look forward to always having the right piece for the job!

Good set of skillets

Cast iron griddle broke on the second time of using it. It was on the stove at medium temperature and the heat broke a chunk of it off and hit the floor. If I was standing there I could have broken a toe or been seriously hurt. This is not real cast iron it should not al break no matter how hot the heat was, on medium. Definitely wouldn't withstand a campfire. Very disappointed with this purchase.

Dangerous DO NOT BUY

Right out of the box I felt like this was not truly 100% iron. The edges scrapped up my skin because they were very sharp. Trying to start my children’s day off right before school with a nice breakfast however after putting the turkey bacon on the grill from the set of three on medium heat the grill popped and cracked while in mid action on flipping the turkey bacon. I am grateful that my children were not using it ( I have older children) and I had it secured on the stove. If I could give this a zero I would. Not sure why this is receiving so many good reviews but I wouldn’t recommend and I will never buy a cheap iron skillet again.
