The settings on the foot rest adjust down to 4'9". I would guess a person as short as 4'8" could use it without a problem.

4'9'' & 145 lbs. That's the lowest setting on the bar. Hop that works for you, because it's a great table.

The minimum height on the machine is 4'9" but that will depend on your build. Don't get too hung up on the height markings on the machine only use them as a guide. I am 6' and 290lbs but I have it set at 6'5" because of my belly I have added weight to my torso. Therefore in order for me to achieve a balance on the machine so that I can easily go back to an upright position after being inverted I have to set it for the 6' 5" position.

As most have noted, the minimum height adjustment on the boom is 4'9". This is equivalent 145 cm in height. There is NOT a 145 lb minimum weight limitation as implied by one of the answers to this question. I can find no warning about any minimum safe weight in the owners manual or on the machine.

Maximum user height is 6'6". Maximum user weight is 350lbs. The Gravity 4000 is one of the only inversion tables to be tested up to 350 lbs of user weight.

This machine can adjust up to 6'9" and I think it is rated at 320#, my husband is 6"1" 250# and works great for him, too!

He will have no problem. I think the table extends to 6'7". I'm 6'3" 250. I have more gut than your hubby. ie. I have more weight above the piviot point. my balance point is 6'4". If your husband is more leg than upper body his balance point will be shorter than he is tall.

Yes - The minimum height on the Gravity 4000 is 4'9" so you should be fine with this table

Although there is a label that starts at 4'-9" for model 4000 there are no drilled holes for anything less than the 5'-1." You may be able to go higher as I did for comfort. But I don't know that you could go up three inches. Try to find one somewhere to try before you buy. I'd e-mail the company also to see if there is a model that would fit you. Good luck.

It's up to 6ft 6 you'll be fine. My 8 yr old and 4 yr old been on mine

The height adjustments register at 4'9" We have found it works better if you set at an inch or two taller than your height. It puts your center of gravity in relation to the fulcrum so that you tip comfortably with control.

The minimum height shown on mine is 4' 9".

The scale on the unit lists 4'9" as minimum. However, I'm 6' and have it set at 6'2" to have it balance correctly so I would think it would work ok for you.
