No, the tray is a black hard metal frame only. You can only set something on it if the porcelain platters are sitting on it.

Love love these dishes!!! They are beautiful, elegant and so aesthetically pleasing to look at.  A great buy I also bought 2 of the Gibson square 12 piece dish sets and they go beautifully together so happy with my purchase :-)

Great buy and beautiful

It worked great and look very pretty.  I put small sealed cups with salt and pepper, butter, etc. for my family guests at a small christmas gathering.  That way it cut down on "touching".  You can move it side to side which makes it look very pretty.  Only downside is that it doesn't lock in so if you pick it up it falls to pieces, lol.

Very nice set, folds up flat for storage.  Plates are sturdy, great for entertaining.

Great Product.

Nice little tiered serving tray.  to make it a bit more stable.. I would anchor with some glue dots from the feet to the counter/table/surface once you get it into the position you want.  I felt I'd made an excellent choice with this  Very pleased. Now, just how to store it with ease.

Looks just as pictured and keeps my countertop organized, but it is a little wobbly.  I use it for displaying fresh fruit to remind me to grab a healthy snack.

Ordered 3 for a party.   One stand broke before party so used porcelain trays alone.   Stands aren't very sturdy but they made it through the party.  I feel like you could just buy bigger trays cheaper.

1 item was fine, but my 2nd item leg was bent and caused the tier to be unbalanced

Slightly damaged

The top tier tray doesn't fit properly.. the frame seems to be warped.  One of the trays is chipped.

Disappointed

The rack is very wobbly.  The first photo shows it assembled.  It moves easily as seen in the second photo

Too wobbly

It's a nice set but not very sturdy. When. I received the set I put it together to see how it looked. I put it away until I needed it and when I put it together for the first time to use, on of the stand arms broke! I usually order BHG because of their quality, I was disappointed in this set!!
