Old friends. L.I have used these legs many times. They’re inexpensive, sturdy and decent looking. This particular purchase was to make a custom-made kitchen dining table. I attached these legs to a piece of heavy plywood and covered the plywood with the material used on my countertops to match.

Nightmare to assembleMarykateIt would have been nice to know you need a power tool to install these legs. In the past I have always been able to use my regular screwdriver, this time I was on the verge of stripping my screwdriver and literally taking extreme exertion for nearly an hour and still not succeeding in getting the screws in all the way, so that now the table is extremely wobbly and not usable until I get someone in here with a power tool.

Faulty ScrewsBohanThe ADILS table legs from IKEA are a major disappointment. The screw heads are too shallow, causing the screwdriver to slip constantly and strip the screws. This makes assembly nearly impossible and raises serious concerns about stability.
To make matters worse, the metal plates for attaching the legs are of abysmal quality, with a cheap appearance and even visible rust. Compared to the same product I bought five years ago, these new legs are like defective secondhand items. IKEA's quality has clearly plummeted, and I'm furious about wasting my money on this shoddy product.
