Perfect brush, never clumpy and doesn't flakeFor many years I used Prescriptives mascara. When they went out of business I started my quest to find the perfect replacement, trying many brands. I don't know what took me so long to try DHC mascara since I exclusively use their skin care products but I'm glad I finally did. I found my perfect mascara! The brush has a very small diameter, enabling me to get my fine lashes. The mascara goes on smooth and it never flakes. I can get it off with my DHC soap at night. The only slight improvement for me would be to have a curved brush but the straight brush is good enough.

Oh Well!I really wanted to like this product based upon all of the reviews. Unfortunately I found it difficult to apply as well as remove.

I love this mascara, but my fair skin color doesn't allow me to wear black mascara all year long. Why does this not come in brown?

Will your mascara let my lashes stay curled? I have straight lashes that I curl with eyelash curlers. However, most mascaras will straighten lashes after application.

Our Mascara Perfect Pro Double Protection is not a curling mascara; however it shouldn't "uncurl" lashes that were curled before application.

Always use removal wipes to remove mascara followed with lash tonic. Do you recommend not using the tonic before applying your mascara?

Hello!
Our Mascara Perfect Pro Double Protection Mascara is not removed by cleansing oils or makeup wipes, but instead, warm water. Warm (not hot) water loosens the bond the mascara has to lashes and allows it to slide off effortlessly. You'll see evidence in the "pieces" of mascara shedding off during rinsing.
Eyelash Tonic can be applied prior to Mascara Perfect Pro Double Protection, but we strongly recommend allowing it to dry completely before applying mascara. Eyelash Tonic can also be used as a conditioning treatment at night, on cleans lashes.
