Drawer

Overall a beautiful Cabinet which was very heavy. It was a snap to put together and in a beautiful walnut color. I loved the space it had for all our entertaining supplies. It went well with all our summer equipment in our Family Room and it blended in quite well.

Farnsworth Bar Cabinet by Queer Eye

This cabinet is absolutely beautiful. It is sturdy and has a nice finish on it. It arrived in a big box and the pieces are marked with the letters. The only complaint I have about the markings is the drawer brackets are hard to read which is Left and Right. Other than that it wasn't hard to put together as long as you have two people. It took us about 2 hours to put together, so unless you want to be building for a few hours I reccomend help. It would be nice to have color options also, like a darker finish maybe. The pieces needed would also be better if they were labeled on the package instead of a separate sheet of paper. Overall I would recommend this cabinet. It is very nice!

Beautiful cabinet!

The Queer Eye Farnsworth Bar Cabinet is a great piece of furniture. It has quality parts and the directions were easy to follow. The two drawers glide out easily and the two side doors have a lot of storage with a shelf in each one. There are 15 open cubbies for wine/liquor storage. It takes 2 able body people to lift the box it came in and the same amount of people to assemble. The assembly time is at least 2 hours. The assembly difficulty meter says almost tough and that is correct. I received this product through the Spark Reviewer program.

Very nice Bar Cabinet

Overall, it was worth the 3  hours of sweating and swearing to put this together.  I appreciate that some pieces are solid wood and not particle board.  You definitely need to use a screw gun for the door hinges—they were tough!  It looks beautiful and exactly as pictured. There's plenty of storage!

Beautiful Bar Cabinet

This Queer Eye Farnsworth Bar Cabinet, is not only 
elegant, but it is extremely functional. 
We belong to a wine club, and our old wine rack 
only held 6 bottles, and this bar cabinet will store 
15 bottles of wine. I love the two drawers for 
miscellaneous items, and the shelves in the 2 storage
cabinets on each side are adjustable. We use it for 
bottled water, and other variously sized bottles of 
alcohol. 
That being said, in my opinion this product is 
something that requires two people to assemble, and 
it's not a quick assembly process, but the end result
was worth our time and patience. I would definitely 
recommend this to anyone looking to purchase a 
beautiful, quality crafted bar cabinet.

Elegant Bar Cabinet

The bar cabinet is attractive, seems sturdy in design and is already useful in our home. The complete assembly, from unboxing to inserting the last screw, took 3 hours 10 minutes. 

What's Great: The drawers are medium-sized and are good for holding our table napkins, coasters and other dining room knick-knacks; however they could not hold our placemats. The wine slots are spacious and deep, the table top is wide and ample, and the cabinets are suitable for storing our liquor accessories. The walnut color also goes well with our dining room decor.

What's Not So Great: The furniture material is not solid wood so extra care must be taken when removing the labels on each piece and also when inserting screws and nails. The screws in the hinges were difficult to push through and the edges are sharp - I would recommend wearing gloves when handling those pieces. The drawers do not slide as easily as I would like, but they are usable.

Overall opinion: The cabinet looks as if it will be long-lasting, easy to clean and easy to move. I like it so far and my husband, who does not usually like Walmart furniture, thinks it is an attractive addition to our dining area.

Attractive Piece of Furniture

It was damaged. The top board had a dent in it and  one drawer doesn't open all the way

Somewhat unhappy with this product. I like the design of it, but had some issues with the shipping and assembling of it. 

I previously purchased the matching Farnsworth tv stand with an electric fireplace inside of it and loved that! I wanted this cabinet to make a matching set. This cabinet seems to be of lesser quality though. The pieces don't fit together as well as the tv stand. The pre-drilled holes for the door hinges are off a bit and the doors scrap the hinges as they open/close. There isn't a way to adjust this. After hours of putting it together, there's no way I can take it apart and return it. 

The most frustrating part was that it arrived damaged from the shipping. I arranged for a replacement with Walmart and the second one was even more damaged. I figured it's only cosmetic and I've been waiting for so long that I just kept the second one. The damage is where the pieces rubbed/hit each other in the box. There are several places where the "wood" texture has been scrapped off. I think I'm going to try to hide it with a brown marker. 

Sadly I don't think there's a way around the shipping damage this product will get on the way to your home.
