Perfect little mop!
||Posted . Owned for 2 weeks when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I am disabled and can’t stand long enough to sweep/vacuum or mop my whole house in the same week, let alone all at one time. After doing extensive research and reading a lot of reviews I decided this little guy was the right fit for me and my home. I have a Roomba 960 that covers approximately 640 sq ft when vacuuming my home. About 2/3 of my flooring is carpet so I figured the tiled area (kitchen, hallways, bathrooms) was within the suggested area size of the Brava 240. I also wanted the maneuverability this model was capable of to access around my toilets and under my cabinets. I read online complaints of streaks or spots but I haven’t experienced that with my natural finish faux stone tile. I can see maybe a smooth finished marble or gloss finished stone might streak on the wet mop setting. She can mop the entry, kitchen, hallway and main bathroom in one charge. I sometimes have to recharge to clean the master bathroom. I use her to mop once a week and purchased the 10 count wet mopping pad. I figured that’s .84 a week or 8.44 every 2 1/2 months which for me isn’t bad. I also purchased the washable mop pads and cleaning solution, but haven’t tried it yet. I wonder it if will clean as well as the disposable. I am expecting to get At least 3 good years out of her before I experience any problems but I’m hoping for 5 years!

Stopped working
||Posted . Owned for 1.5 years when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Great idea. Stopped working after a few uses. When it did work it cleaned but no good for when it doesn't work. Sprayer doesn't spray and battery doesn't charge after several hours

Highly recommend, I love it!
||Posted . Owned for 9 months when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Absolutely love this iRobot mop. It is great for a small condo and it actually cleans your floors. I don’t know how I ever lived without it. If you do a deep cleaning on your floors first, then you can run this iRobot about 2 times a week or as needed on high traffic areas and your floors look and feel clean. My favorite feature is starting it via the iRobot app and Bluetooth connection. I like to run it on a scheduled nightly routine and wake up to clean floors. It’s small but packs a punch. Small enough to get under my counter’s borders so that’s very convenient. Don’t let the small size fool you, it does the job of bigger machines, in my opinion, and I love the “scrubbing” feature as well. It will end up where it starts, so I put it either under my curio cabinet ( it’s lifted off the ground) or end table and once it is done it will return to that location. It is smart enough to avoid going onto your area rugs and stays on hardwood, tile , or marble floors.

Small but very effective!
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I love my new little Flor mopping robot! It works very well. If your floors are especially soiled you'll need to redo it a few times, but then it's simple maintenance after that. Also the wet mop pads can be rinsed and reused many times before tossing. I also add a little swifter solution to the chamber along with the hot water. Works great! I love this much better than the Mint I also have. My floors have never been so clean! You'll love it!

Small Helper to free your time
||Posted . Owned for 1 month when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. This is a small useful product. It works fine for the functionality promised. It could have been much better, if pads were reusable

Pleasantly Pleased
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. It was smaller than we realized it would be BUT that little thing works. I bought it for my wife and she has named it "Robbie". It is interesting watching Robbie clean the floors. My wife is so pleased with the results. Right out the box, Robbie was easy to setup. Robbie has cleaned our hardwood floors and tile floors. There may have been a stain or two on the kitchen floor that he did not totally clean but to be fair the stain needed to be scrubbed. He even cleaned under the cabinets. My wife said she will upgrade in the future but she is sold on it.

Q: QuestionDoes it really clean? And, does it clean around furniture or do you have to empty the room?
Asked by Cricket.
- A:Answer It cleans but doesn't do as good a job as using a mop. I purchased the washable wet jet pads. They do a much better job than the throw away pads that came the the product. It will work around furniture. Also able to create a virtual wall so you can limit the space that it cleans.

Q: QuestionCan this be used like a broom and how do u pick cleaning pads
Asked by Victor.
- A:Answer The machine when a pad is placed on it knows what it is to do. Example, put on the dusting it just does that, floor cleaning it now sprays the water, etc. The pads are clearly marked when you purchase them and based upon what you intend to do those are the pads you buy and use. I will note they have a reusable pad that I believe does it all. The broom aspect should be handled by the I Robot Vacuum not this little guy that covers a very small area. So, no I would not use it like a broom. I believe the other model may allow you to use Swifter pads, etc.

Q: QuestionCan this be used on laminate wood plank floors?
Asked by Newmomma2016.
- A:Answer I have used it at (2) locations on laminated wood, marble, real wood, and bamboo floors, with no apparent damage.

Q: QuestionCan you use soap with it?
Asked by Josie.
- A:Answer Hello Josie, Great question! I recommend only using water or Braava Jet Hard Floor Cleaning Solution inside the robot. If you’d like to use something other than water or the Braava Jet Hard Floor Cleaning Solution, you can always spray a cleaner of your choice on your floors first and then start the Braava Jet 240.

Q: QuestionI mean how does the phone control it? Does it not just work on its own? Do you have to have an iPhone to run it? You were not clear on the app thing.
Asked by Anonymous.
- A:Answer It does not need an app to control it. It will work fine as a stand alone unit. The app is great for easy registration, battery level checks, and ordering spare pads, but it is not a deal breaker. The app can also set a spot clean radius but this can also be accomplished to an extent by setting the virtual wall mode on the unit itself. Bottom line, the app is not really required.
