Has stood the test of time!Anonymous reviewerWe bought this chair in the dark grey color 7 years ago, and it is still going strong. We have 2 young and VERY FERAL boys, as well as 3 dogs, and they have trashed every piece of furniture except this one. 😅 The one thing I wish was different is that I wish the footrest could come up without the seat being reclined!5
Great DealGregoryEasy to assemble, comfortable and for a good price5
Good chairJohnWas looking to replace an older chair and loveseat. Found these chairs on clearance and purchased one. Took it outside to put in my car and after we were able to get it in the car (had to remove from boxes) we went back in and bought another. Easy to assemble and comfortable. Not as comfortable as a high priced recliner but sufficient enough for now.
I would suggest to take out the cushion that needs to expand 3 days before you plan to assemble. I was all ready to assemble on a Friday and saw in the instructions to let seat cushion expand for 72 hours so we had to wait a few days extra days to complete assembly and use them.5
Comfy! perfect for a studio apartmentVeronicaI opted to have 2 of these armchairs in my studio apartment instead of a small uncomfortable couch. They were a pain to put together, but I am so happy with them.4
Umm, can be betterShilpaWas so excited for this chair but it lacks a few things.
Pros
1. Removable covers. Makes it easier to wash and clean
2. Bigger surface area. I am 34 weeks pregnant and could have a decent night’s sleep on this chair
Cons
1. You have to push the chair to get the recliner function to work. No handle
2. The footrest won’t come out when sitting
3. You can’t recline comfortably somewhere between sitting and sleeping. The chair gets pushed back if you have it at an angle. Not fun at all
I am contemplating returning it. Love the comfort but the cons definitely are concerning3
Not comfortableDeborahIf you're not wanting a really comfortable recliner
to melt into at the end of work then this chair has some definite benefits. It is however miles away from a lazy boy experience, But you can wash the cover & it's
always come clean even with a lab puppy & a few cats. It's extremely simple to move because it comes apart like Legos. If they had more comfortable cushioning & it's foot test was another 5 or so inches long it would be the perfect recliner. I am 5'4" & from my calves down there's no support, I need a foot rest for the recliner. When I sit in it, which isn't often. I need a lumber support pillow & 2 roll pillows for each side & there's no head rest so I usually use an extra large pillow for the upper back. I'm just confused why Ikea doesn't use cushioning in their furniture I guess they never sit long enough to relax! You surely can't in this chair but it's great to get your shoes on, without padding its easy to get out of & the lack of comfort makes you want to.3

After 2 Years...SherriAfter owning this Recliner for 2 years now I have to say it's the single most disappointing purchase I've ever made on Ikea. The seat cushion has gone flat while all 4 corners flip up. The arms on the inner sides have gone flat exposing the frame. The back cushion is concaved. Hair, Fur, Dust and anything else gets trapped in the fibers and is impossible to remove, even with a Dyson. The foot rest on it is so uncomfortable and flattened I won't use it anymore. (It hardly ever got used). I have tried a million different ways of replacing the cushion part to give me more comfort and it never works because of how the springs are underneath. This is a disposable piece of furniture that will be replaced soon. -A side note: If your taller than 5'1 you won't fit. The recliner part of it was made for children, not adults and the sound from the feet when you attempt to move it is ear shattering.1

Great Recliner!PaulPerfect size for a small apartment. So far it appears to be very pet friendly, and I like the fact that I can buy just a new cover rather than replace the whole thing if it ever comes to that. So much modern furniture is not that comfortable, but this chair is amazingly comfortable and looks great in an eclectic living room mix.5
Worth every pennySusanI bought this recliner pre-surgery to have an alternative, comfortable spot, other than a bed. This recliner is great. With two positions to recline. I thought it was easy to assemble, and the cover can be removed and washed. Lastly, it’s size is perfect. Not a big hunking piece of furniture. Excellent for a small space.5
Nice chair! I wish theDerekNice chair! I wish the reclining piece was a bit longer (my feet dangle off of it), but otherwise it is great.4
Comfortable chair for the priceNadineWe bought this chair as a reading chair for my sob’s room. Though ig looks a little flimsy, it is super comfortable and holding up nicely. In a pinch it could even be used for a sleepover.4
Great product! Bigger and waySayakaGreat product! Bigger and way more comfortable than I expected!5
Beautiful and so comfortableAndreaPerfect for reading, resting, sleeping.5
Comfy reclinerJenniferI wanted a chair for my lounge corner to curl up in or lean back and watch TV. Out of all the chairs I tried in the store, this was the best fit and most comfortable. I'm a petite woman so the back was high enough for me but someone taller might prefer a higher back. The back cushion is also very soft and kind of lumpy at first, but I got used to it. It doesn't stay reclined all the way down if I move around but maybe I'm just not heavy enough. Overall, a great recliner. I wish the cover came in more colors!5
Wow! So comfyEllenThis chair is gorgeous. Ann’s incredibly roomy and comfortable. Assembly is super easy and it really compliments my living room.5
