Beautiful
||Posted . Owned for 3 weeks when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I love this monitor! It has all the features I wanted. Great price. It’s a big monitor with a large stand. While not pure blacks like an oled panel, the VA panel does great! I recommend sitting at least 2-3 feet away. My only complaint is not with the monitor but with my out dated 1080 gpu. I can play majority of games at max or close to max settings @1440p. G-Sync seems to be working even though this is a free Sync monitor. The RGBs are cool as well and can be completely turned off if RGBs aren’t your thing. I did do some calibration to the screen with a Spyder Pro 4. All in all I’d recommend this monitor to anyone looking for a great looking screen with a ton of bells and whistles.

Fantastic monitor for QHD!
||Posted . Owned for 1 month when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I would have originally purchased a GSync monitor if I could afford the GSync tax, but I'm actually so glad I opted for this monitor instead now that GSync & FreeSync now can work together! All in all though, this monitor is great if you want a something ultra-wide or along those lines. The 2560 x 1440 resolution coupled with an 1800R curved VA panel makes for a great entry-level immersive experience! Not to mention that it can also be overclocked to 144 Hz & even though it has FreeSync, it can work with GSync in most cases. (But be sure to DO YOUR RESEARCH if you don't know or are unsure!) Nonetheless, this monitor is great & I haven't had any issues with it since. Would definitely buy it (or something similar) in a heartbeat! :D

RGB strip fits nice with rest of my RGB stuff
||Posted . Owned for 2 months when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.with some minor tweaks got the monitor to look amazing. however did get one with what appears to be either a dead pixel or dust under the panel cant really tell. its not in center of screen but more at top and not very noticeable to warrant a return and have possibility of getting one with bad light bleed or more dead pixels or anything worse. the monitor base all though is nice to look at and very high quality is huge! so if u have a really shallow desk its something to consider. the rgb strip is a nice touch and not distracting at all to me and the curve is really nice as well. would def buy again

Great display, bad stand
||Posted . Owned for 1 week when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. The monitor is really great...especially for the price. Admittedly, I'm using this for work and not necessarily pushing all the gaming functionality. But for media, it looks fantastic. My only gripe (which apparently is common on the MSI forums) is that the stand is a little ridiculous. Why use a tripod design? It needs a lot of room behind the monitor for the back leg. If you have a deep desk, or if you plan to use a VESA stand, then no hesitation. I had to find a desktop VESA stand (I use a glass desk, so no clamps for me, and no wall available either in my setup)

Great monitor for gamers
||Posted . Owned for 3 weeks when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I bought two of these, one for each of my boys and they love them. The colors are crisp and the refresh rate is awesome! I do not hear them complaining about the display lagging any longer. It is wall mountable so I am considering this since the stand is pretty large.

Great Buy for the Price
||Posted . Owned for 1 year when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. At the time of buying this, I got it around 400ish on sale. Does the job well with 144hz and 1440P, If you have a good graphics card (which you should) you can have smooth 1440p gameplay and great movies at the same time. Trying to get 144hz and 1440p monitor at a lower price is pretty hard when the competition is around 500-600 up so up to you on how you want to spend your money. My greatest flaw with this is also its strength which is that the monitor is curved. When playing competitively you might tilt your screen and mess up your settings slightly but for movies, this thing is great for the curve, Also has great anti glare which helps since the sun is behind me.

Excellent monitor for 1440p gaming.
||Posted . Owned for 3 weeks when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I picked up this monitor on a black friday deal because it was the best deal I'd come across for a 1440p, 144hz monitor from a reputable brand. I am not disappointed in the least. I haven't quite figured out the Steelseries Game Sence with the RGB lighting at the bottom, but that's on me having not taken the time yet. I give this monitor 5 stars because it is truly a great monitor for the price. But, it's right on the edge of 5 stars because the Display Port cable that came with it does not work. I plugged in my own DP cable and the monitor works fine. So if you buy this, just keep in mind that the cables could potentially be bad.

Q: QuestionCan you change the resolution to 1080p @ 144hz? How does this monitor look and perform at 1080p 144hz? Some games I would need to change the resolution down to 1080 to keep the fresh rate at 144hz.
Asked by theMurph.
- A:Answer Yes the resolution can be changed depending on your graphics card output settings. Due to the lower resolution, games running at 1080p may look stretched out if ran in "Full Screen" mode.
