This is the perfect lasagna dish. Easy 3 layers with room for extra gravy %26 cheese on top. Purchase 4 of these for a large family gathering, made lasagna ahead of time %26 froze. These were awesome.

Lasagna made perfect

I am a spark reviewer, and had the pleasure of receiving a Pyrex Deep 9 x 13 Bakeware Dish with Sage Lid. There are so many ways to use this dish. I chose to bake a dish of chicken wings instead of placing the wings on the grill. I was a bit apprehensive that the depth of the dish might interfere with the heat distribution. However, it did not! The chicken cooked very well and browned well. I love the beautiful lid that comes with this dish. Also, this dish is versatile. Other dishes I will try are salads, macaroni and cheese and as a storage dish in the refrigerator. Cleaning this dish was easy! I look forward to using this durable dish.

Great Dish!

I love the large size of this and the depth is a bonus. I used it for lasagna, and it did not disappoint. Enough room for the noodles to expand without spilling over the sides. Easy cleanup (I used cooking spray to coat prior) with traditional dish soap. I thought it was too big for the dishwasher even though it is dishwasher safe. Easy to store leftovers with the tight fitting lid.

Perfect size for lasagna

The Pyrex Deep 9 x 13 Bakeware Dish with Sage Lid is thick and deeper than the usual Pyrex glass pan. I definitely measured to make sure the dimensions were correct. Machine washable, the thickness of the pan keeps the good hot for a longer period of time and you can make a 7 to 8 layered lasagna and that always depending on how much meats you use which I love sausage,pepperoni,riccotta,meat sauce,mozzarella. The pan was easy to clean and whatever got baked on still came off easily. The lid is the usual thick plastic and the edges were the thickness of the edge of the pan so it didn't let food seep out. I don't recommend putting on the lid with a hot pan since it will stretch it a bit and perhaps something could seep out. You could even put it into the freezer to keep the lasagna fresh and the pan held up nicely but I put aluminium instead of lid just in case it warps the plastic. Great addition to my Pyrex storage accessories.

Thick and deep pan

I've been using Pyrex bakeware, storage dishes, etc., for years and years and have always been very pleased with it. I've given different items as gifts, especially to new brides. I got this because I liked the fact that it was deeper than most and that it had a light sage green cover. I believe I can use this for lasagna the next time I make it. I normally have to use a disposable container to make it as I didn't have anything deep enough. This time I made my Italian chicken in it (chicken tenderloins marinated 4 hours or longer in Italian dressing, dump all in the pan, shake Parmesan cheese on top and bake at 350F till it's done). If you're cooking a lot of chicken or anything, this pan is great! It was easily cleaned when I finished the chicken, too. I can highly recommend the Pyrex brand and this dish is no exception.

Love Pyrex!

Pyrex has been a household name for many years. I can remember at least 50 years ago when my mother baked pies in a Pyrex dish. Pyrex bakeware has always been heavy duty and durable and this dish is no exception. It is sturdy and is handy for many baking functions. The plastic lid makes it also good for storing leftovers or taking food to a potluck. This dish is 3 inches deep which makes it good for baking a chicken or a large turkey breast or a small turkey. It would be good for baking a loaf cake, lasagna, or other casserole type dishes.

Read the few instructions that come with the insert inside the dish. Always pre-heat oven, always add a little water first when baking meat or anything that will make juices. This dish is microwave safe and freezer safe. Don’t use on stovetop or under broiler. The plastic lid cannot be used in the oven. Don’t subject to extreme change in temperature. If cared for properly, this dish should last for many years.

Heavy-Duty and Versatile

This Pyrex dish is big enough for a small turkey or a chicken with room for dressing! The convenient lid allows the left overs to stay in place, cover and refrigerate! I placed a water inside to show the depth of the Pyrex dish. Can't wait to use it!

Pyrex Deep Dish with Lid

Love it! I took the picture with the coffee cup to show how deep this dish really is. I took one look and instantly knew this dish was going to quickly become my new favorite bake everything I dish. Even my teenager said how nice this is with the cover. You can make a jumbo lasagna to big batches of summer cold salads and have this in the fridge! The old ones look so tiny next to it. Stored this in my special spot to make sure I grab it next time. Fits everything..
