yes, Its a Glass bottle. Inside plastic cap is there that I&#39;m not sure.

I think so, it has a greenish color to it like olives and is packaged in a dark bottle. I like that it is first cold pressed also. I like the flavor compared to other olive oils I have tried. For the price I think its worth it.

this stuff tastes fantastic. it has a bright, grassy flavor that is super refreshing and pleasant. it's not heavy and flavorless like most major grocery store brands of olive oil, an this makes all the difference. i use it both to cook and to dip/season. It's a great all purpose olive both for cooking and table.

Was just diagnosed with type 2 diabetes and my dietician said to start using EVOO and I told her I hate that stuff and she said" you have never had good EVOO" So I spent the money  and bought this....and OMGosh it is delicious..I even dip my sandwiches in it and use it for dressing on salad....It is soooo good!

Use to Hate Olive Oil

I love it! I usually get the cheap olive oil, which from what I am learning, isn't "pure olive oil". There was definitely a difference when using this olive oil. I will definitely get it again!

Real Olive Oil

The United States imports more olive oil than any other country, and yet regulations on the labeling of said oil are voluntary. When it comes to olive oil, tests reveal anywhere from 60 to 90 percent of the olive oils sold in American grocery stores and restaurants are adulterated with cheap, oxidized, omega-6 vegetable oils, such as sunflower oil or peanut oil, or non-human grade olive oils, which are harmful to health in a number of ways. The California Olive Ranch olive oil is grown, milled, bottled, and shipped from California. All of their extra virgin olive oils are certified extra virgin by the California Olive Oil Council (COOC). They use environmental sustainable farming practices. They have an integrated pest management system, first using pheromone attractant traps to catch any olive fruit flies, as well as placing owl boxes in orchards. Only when absolutely necessary, do they use a direct spray method of applying pesticides. They test oils every year for residual pesticides. The California Olive Ranch produces several ‘award winning' single variety olive oils. “Everyday” is a blend of 3 varieties, allowing it to be the company's least expensive Extra Virgin Olive Oil. California Olive Ranch “Everyday” is an excellent choice as an ‘affordable' good quality olive oil for general use.

California Olive Ranch Global Blend Extra Virgin Olive Oil, Medium is my absolute favorite. This brand has been selected by two (2) major cooking shows that I watch on a regular basis. I would not use anything else.

I purchased this because of the fact that it is made in California.  It cooks well and tastes very good. It has a lite flavor which works great in salads.

Lite tasting oil

Have tasted many olive oils, but this was the worst.  funky taste, funky smell, just not good.  And despite the name, its only 10% California oil.

Icky.

Walmart did not have this in stock.  I received an email and text message telling me it could ship for free.  When I clicked on 'ship' A dialog box said "we cannot ship to this address.". A big waste of time.

Misinformation

California Olive Oil 10% from california. Bad form. Bait and switch. Exactly same as bottle with 100% California olive oil and same name . Should have read the reviews. I've always received 100% California olive oil from other vendors.

Very disappointed

Watch the sticker on the bottle. I did grocery pick up and did not notice that the one I received was GLOBAL BLEND only 10% California. Didn't notice it when ordering  due to me not knowing that the company even produced such a blend! Im returning it!! It was always 100% California the only one  I will buy.
