I like that the handle doesn’t get so hot that it’s unmanageable when I pull it off the stove. The construction seems very solid. It’s no LeCrueset but it’s also a LOT less expensive and does what you need it to.

The kettle seems well built and should last a year or two before it needs replacing. The handle doesn't get too hot when the water is at its boiling point, so your able to pour the water out right away. The whistle is also really loud which is great if you're sitting in another room while the water is boiling

Also use it for making tea. Good quality. Got a great price for this item. Like that the inside is stainless steel too.

The stainless steel looks very good in the kitchen. It will whistle when the water boils. The handle is very large and easy to cary and pick up. It's easy to squeeze the handle to pour out hot water. The top removes easily, but clicks in place so that it will not come out by accident. I recommend this 2 qt tea kettle to anyone who want hot water from the stove. Will even heat water if placed on top of a wood stove.

- A:Answer I think the plastic parts will not interfere with heating water because the body is stainless. The handle and whistle are the normal teakettle hard plastic which don't touch water, so there should not be any harm from BPA deposits.
