Does it come with gloves for application?

Cashmere Brown 5.5 is lovely. It looks a little darker at first, after a few days, it becomes rich. It&#39;s just right for my med. brown hair.

This is the BEST hair dye on the market. You do not even need to wash it a few times to look good. Covers grey. There is nothing else even close to this. It looks like you just left the salon. Please don't ever stop making this!! I used 3.8 velvet brown the first time. It was so beautiful. I went back to buy more but could not remember what I bought (left the color number at home) so I guessed and purchased 4.0 cappuccino. Ooh my gosh so pretty. I dont know which I like better.  I had to share this with the other woman. Amazing!!

Best ever hair dye!

I always color my hair blonde then pull tjis caramel through ot for low lights!!  Works petfect.   Saves me lots of money st the hair salon..

I have very long brown hair, and this product has been the best by far! I have light brown hair with blonde and red tones. Usually hair color turns red immediately. This products matches my natural color perfectly letting all colors blend like natural. The first time I used 2 boxes, after that only 1 for my roots each time. It lasts about 5-6 weeks for gray coverage, with no breakage, or other issues I've had with coloring my hair. I think the trick with any hair color is to try to stay as natural to your own color as possible, so there's less processing, and the outgrow looks natural.

Schwarzkopf does it again! Everything they make is excellent quality. This color is the real color of my (now) salt & pepper hair. I could not ask for more! It doesn't damage my hair like other brands. I notice they recommend the Volume Vitality shampoo and conditioner on the box, and that is a MUST imo. I'm a customer for as long as they keep making it!! Love it!!

Best Color I've Ever Used!

I don't know what everybody's talking about. I use this color and the color is absolutely beautiful however it does have a tremendous amount of chemicals in it that I don't like when I buy hair color I try to buy something with no ammonia and is gentle as I can possibly find. I won't use it again simply because of all the chemicals but I have to say the color came out beautiful my hair falls out regardless when I color my hair so that didn't upset me.

I have been coloring my own hair for several years and have tried many products. The color went on well and did not come out red or brassy like many other hair color products. I used the black-brown and it colored my roots well and has stayed dark (a problem I have with other colors since I have naturally light hair). I flat iron everyday and while the color has faded a bit, it has held up better than others. My only complaint is the amount of hair color product in the bottle. I have a short A-line bob and it was almost not enough.

For those that have had color issues, the residual color, red, etc. will continue to show through, so either strip the old color or go with a cool tone to counter balance the red/brassiness. If you have naturally red or warm tone hair or fade warm always use a cool tone or use a tone additive to cut brassy/red if you use a warm tone.

For the person who had hair loss, sounds more like an individual allergic reaction, which is why you should always do a patch test when trying a new product. If your hair is now thin due to hair loss, use Tigi Queen For a Day thickening spray while your hair recovers.

Good Results

The kit was very similar to others I have used. I was very happy with the color, it wasn't orange or brassy and very close to box sample. I liked the preconditioner. Went on very silky. I also felt the product was milder than some I used. I didn't have any burning during coloring and no itchy scalp afterwards.Coverage was great. My only complaint would be the price compared to others.

My brand of choice

I have tried Intense Cocoa, hoping for a beautiful reddish brown. The result I got was jet black hair with red streaks... I am pretty unhappy with the color. My hair is naturally dark brown. I followed the instructions (I always do), and the dye was mixed very well (even Frappuccino color), and I've been coloring my hair for about 20+ years. On a positive side, it didn't smell bad and my hair actually felt soft after the coloring. My hair usually feels like straw immediately after coloring (it's overprocessed). The grays seem to have been sufficiently covered. I am on day 4 post-color, so if something changes, I'll edit the review.  The amount of dye in the bottle was barely enough for my chin length bob.

Next time I'll use Color Ultime in Macadamia Nut, which gave me a lovely hair color and worked great.

Intense Cocoa became intense black!

I purchased 1.9 Rich Caviar because on the box it had a beautiful purple hue to it. I wanted something different than my usual go to color which is blue black (different brand) so I picked this one up. Immediately as I started dying my hair I noticed it turning red! Then as I was rinsing the dye out my hair was breaking off more than normal. At this point I knew my hair was ruined. When I combed through my hair it was so dry and knotty. I've never had a dye do this to my hair before! Even after putting my normal leave in conditioner and oils my hair was dry. I allowed my hair to air dry (definitely not applying heat to my now damaged hair) and my roots are red now and the already black has a red tint to it. Like you can clearly see my roots. This only happens when you lighten hair not deposit color into hair. I'm never buying this dye again!

Don't be fooled! 1.9 is actually a red!
