Great Machine
||Posted . Owned for 1 week when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I was looking for something to replace our cheap toaster. I saw this in sale and decided to get it. We have had this a few days and love it so far. We cooked crab cakes in the air fry mode and they came out great. Crispy on the outside soft and got on the inside. Our kids love toast and it toasts just right. It's very easy to take things out to wash. It hasn't gotten extremely hot on the outside that things can't be near it. This will be great to use during these sweltering Florida summer so the oven doesn't heat up the kitchen.

Superb Multi-Function Oven w/Air-Frying
||Posted . Owned for 1 month when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. The air fryer function works great for many foods beyond fries and onion rings, like frozen pizza or breakfast sausage. Even olive oil brushed asparagus comes out fantastic in just 10 to 15 minutes at only 325 degrees. Haven't tried the Toast or regular Bake functions yet, but the Convection setting is like a less intense air frying, and still cooks fast with decent crisping and or browning. I like the analog dials, Easy as digital but with a retro feel. Even grandma feels at home with this oven. Careful though, it cooks faster at lower temps than a regular oven, on both air-fry and convection settings. Seems to be good quality from a known brand. Good value, unbeatable when offered on sale or deal of the day. Bought a second one for media cave or office. The only negative is having to clean the basket and bottom drip plate often from crispy crumbs, oil and cheese drippings. Hard to deduct a star for that inevitability though. This gem cooks healthier, yet just as tasty, as frying the old fashioned way!

Healthy way to cook
||Posted . Owned for 3 weeks when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Air frying is a trend that probably will stay because is healthy, the next generation of kitchen ranges have this option built in. I made one of three bags of organic chicken wings from Costco, they have 15 wings per bag. They fit perfectly in the oven, I followed a recipe from the owners manual for this and also too make potato wedges. They came out great. A cauliflower pizza from Aldis fitted without a problem. Doesn’t emit a lot of heat, it’s easy to clean.

Great quality
||Posted . Owned for 1 week when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. My friends kept telling me about air frying but I still loved my old oster oven and wasnt ready to have another appliance on the counter. When I saw best buy was selling and oven and air fryer in one I couldnt pass it up. All the benefits of your regular toaster oven with the addition of an air fryer that all works like a charm. Now I can use less oil when cooking french fries and dont have to have pans around with oil sitting in them.

Oster air fryer toaster oven
||Posted . Owned for 1 month when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I love my oven airfryer. It works excellent for baking regular or convection and air frying and toast. It is a little big but it is nice looking and I just pull it out when airfrying. Otherwise it seems to not heat up too much so I leave under the cupboard. I love it. Would recommend to a friend. It does not have rotisserie, but I'd probably never use that feature so I don't miss it. Makes excellent toast. Better than my last one. The price was excellent for this.

Excellent for multi uses
||Posted . Owned for 1 month when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Highly recommend this oven. Perfect for counter use. Perfect as an extra oven. Works great as air fryer AND as a convection oven. Also, bakes, brooks & toaster oven. It’s able to hold more than your usual toaster oven. Have not had it get too hot like some reviews said. But it is hot when you open it. It is an oven after all. Don’t put your hands or face in it. lol. And use oven mitts. The convection oven does not make loud noise as some reviewers complained. I’m glad I bought it & would do it again, especially as a Deal of the Day! Thanks Best Buy!

Q: QuestionCan you use both shelves at the same time, for example, to make crispy chicken wings?
Asked by Anonymous.
- A:Answer OK, there's a lot of misleading answers flying around so let me explain step-by-step starting from the bottom of the cooking chamber up. It does come with a proper drip tray, but the flat sheet that slides out from under 2 lower horizontal heating rods is more of a crumb tray rather than a drip tray, since it doesn't have raised sides that could hold any grease that might drip from a large batch of chicken wings or burgers. I know this from experience because I made the mistake of not using the actual drip tray on the lower of the two rack slots and it took half a roll of paper towels to sop up the puddle of chicken fat that had cooked off of the first batch of wings I ever made. At least it didn't end up clogging my arteries! If you are making toast or baking a cake or heating up foods that are not likely to drip any juices, then you are probably OK with not sliding the actual drip tray into the lower rack slots. There is about an inch of separation betwen the lower and upper slots. You should not air-fry foods like chicken wings with anything but empty space in that gap or else the super-heated air won't circulate freely around the bottom of the food resulting in uneven cooking. Think burnt tops and underdone bottoms. So the upper slot is where you first slide in the wire rack, and the basket holding your yummy batch of wings, fries, onion rings, mozzarella sticks, or whatever then rests on top of that. At the top of the chamber there are two horizontal heating rods good for broiling. Between them there is a large coiled heating element that may never visibly glow red despite being the source of all the air-frying magic that the powerful blower fan spreads throughout the entire oven. Lastly, you will find that it is a good idea to wipe down all interior surfaces after cooking is done and the oven has cooled off. No matter what brand of air fryer you get, the steady blast of hot air inside tends to leave behind on the walls and glass door a trace of the grease that cooked off your food. You probably wouldn't like it if the cheeseburgers you just took out of the oven gave off a whiff of the fried catfish you made last week!

Q: QuestionMy husband wants to oven fry catfish. How many fillets will it hold at a time? How long does it take? Also, has anyone tried air frying chicken wings?
Asked by Marymc.
- A:Answer I would say you could fit between 4 to 6 fillets depending on size. They cook fast, like 3 minutes or less, so keep an eye on them the whole time. A homemade batch of 6 thawed uncut wings (flats and drummets attached) takes about 15 minutes to cook through enough to my liking. Ready-made frozen ones take about half as long. Again, keep an eye on them every few minutes so that they won't end up getting overcooked.

Q: Questionconsumes a lot of energy?
Asked by Jecastr.
- A:Answer Dear Jecastr, using my "Kill A Watt" meter, I measure 1670 Watts with the Air Fryer setting on max. temp., which is to say that it draws 13.84 Amps from a 120-Volt outlet. Your mileage may vary :-)
