Just for kicks, to prove my point to my friend, who didn't believe me, I bought the other brand that Wal-Mart has to offer and we taste-tested cashews, when I put a blindfold on my friend, he couldn't tell the difference. It's because there is no difference, except that it's easier on the pocketbook. It really IS a Great Value. The brand name even says so!

Can't Tell The Difference!

They were good for about 10 months of buying one every two weeks.  But the last 4 or 5 cans have not been as fresh. The reason I'm reviewing is that the  cashews in the canister were tasty at the top two inches then stale the rest of the way.  
We usually finish a can in two to three days and keep the lid on.  So that's not the problem. It appears that they may be putting the stale nuts in the container first and topping off with the freshest nuts. I shop Walmart every week for most of my groceries. About 5 or 6 years ago I stopped buying meat and frozen salmon from Walmart. I now will not by great value nuts again.  Two stars for the top of the box being good.

I noticed the quality has gone down on this product. They are smaller and more pieces then before.  What is WalMart doing?  I have noticed other Great Value products have not been as they use to be I got great northern beans and the can was 1/2 full and liquid filled the rest.

Beware!

Pay a premium price for whole cashews and get a can of mostly pieces, halves and only a very few whole cashews.  Please re-label the cans with what is really inside.

Awful, undrinkable. Doesn't taste like any other decaf. Or any coffee at all. Surprised anyone would buy it again after trying
