It does not work at all. There is a clip to lock it in place but if you use it your food would be smashed. No way to make a panini with this machine.

very bad product after only 1 yr 2 mo is not working. my previous panini lasted many many years.

it stoopped work just one year

I am using  bella non-stick sandwich grill. I bought from macy. It has been in use for less than a year and it no longer heats to its high temperatures the bread never browns at max temp always stays at a mild temp regardless of dial setting. Sudennly it stoppded  worked  today.

Great product

Excellent product. Using it for 2 months now, as grill and pannini. The nonstick surface really works, never get anything stick on the surface, very easy to clean.

Panini press

Okay for the price, but see why other panini makers are more expensive. The plate doesn’t heat evenly which causes the edges to brown but not the center. The unit is easy to store which is a plus.
