Very good picture good sound but maybe u will need sound bar. There is no apps store u have to download all apps in your phone and cast it to the tv

Quality not what I expect

Be careful. Just over 2 years old we had this problem of dark shadows in our screen. This is a problem that many people write about and Visio extends the warranty on because they know this is a problem. But they will only extend the warranty to two years so they will not cover our tv. I wish I had read more reviews before I bought this problem. I do NOT recommend a Visio product.

    Excellent for the price

    I've only had this tv for a week, but it has a great picture. Easy to set up, affordable price, nice features, the smartcast works well, and it picks up the WiFi wonderfully. The only downside is it doesn't have Bluetooth for other manufacturers sound bars. I had to hook up with an optical cable.

    We purchased this TV a month ago & it is everything we needed. It has a great picture & a full menu of options. It needs a sound bar to project the sound forward as the speakers are in the back.

    Great Price + Quality but Issues w Active Elements

    Nice dynamic picture on this unit, however the way to achieve this uses 32 Active elements, which unfortunately cause more distraction to the viewing experience for a picky viewer, as there's too much lag in the dimming/brightening in these elements to keep up with the pace of shows that cut back and forth between shots - producing glows/halos that are more noticeable in dark/night scenes than others - after playing with settings multiple times I've found it difficult to turn this off other than flattening the gamma curve all the way, which pretty much eliminates HDR...... Haven't found any reviews on youtube cover this, would be difficult to detect in-store..... Kind of disappointing, but it is a top-notch price for the size, which does im...

    Cheap- Smart TV

    I bought this TV over a month ago and paid for it and as of today it is still not working and on 1/3/19 the Vizio people are to come out to our home to replace the TV with a new one that works - Very disappointed in Sam's and Vizio!

    Very slow

    I bought this tv a month ago and had high hopes for it. It does alot of lagging and freezing up. I know it's not my internet because my internet works perfectly fine with all of my other tv's and devices. It won't even let me use wireless internet for it. I have it connected directly to the ethernet cord for direct internet. The picture is fine and the sound is fine. I just expected more out of a vizio than all the lagging.

    Very Disappointing!

    This set had mixed reviews and I was hopeful that the problems had been fixed or that I would get a set without any issues. It would lockup, couldn't find the Wi-Fi, sound would stop working or just a loud white noise. I returned only after 1 week.

    Terrible customer service from Vizio

    The day after I installed this TV the power supply failed. I called Vizio who said it would be replaced in 2-3 days. After 3 days I called the support vendor number they gave me and they tell me now its going to be repaired, not replaced, and they'll let me know the status of parts in 5 more days. When I called Vizio back they gave me the run around and after I called BS they said "Ok, we'll swap it, but it will take 7-10 business days". Next I will call Sam's Club to see what they will do. Seriously unhappy right now.

    Junk/Crap.....terrible

    Junk junk junk. Very upset with this tv. We have owned a vizio for 8 years. We finally decided to upgrade our living room tv. Tv gets here on a wedneday. We waited til friday night to set it up. We get thru the set up (which took 1.5hrs-also angry about this) and started watching tv-the NFR. Only 2 hours in and the screen goes complete white!!! We can hear the show still happening but just see a white screen! Complete crap!!! Beyond displeased at this point! We unplugged the tv and all the cords, wait 2 mins and plug back in. And guess what......just the same white screen! From the reading we did online we can best guess this is a LED burntout.....? Seriously just 2 hours and the (smart)thing fails miserably. This is our first time eve...

    Returned to store

    Firmware issues out of the box. Called VIZIO and they said a technician would come out to fix. Didn't hear from a technician until 5 business days later. Decided to return to store and go with another brand all together.

    Very good TV for the price

    It's a very good TV for the price. I purchased the 70" around black Friday at a good price. I was happy to find that it fit my existing bracket. It's a 400mm x 400mm pattern (VESA 400). The shipping tracking document claimed it was like 130 lbs, which was odd and incorrect. The TV is about 55 lbs. It has 4 HDMI ports, which is plenty. I wasn't terribly impressed with the inherent Vizio smart interface, but it seemed to work okay. We use the PS4 for our smart interface. You can cast to it without any special devices. It's a budget model, so the picture isn't great when parts of the screen are darker. But other than that, the picture is great.

    Disappointed

    The screen was cracked internally, WalMart customer service no help in getting it replaced. Returned it, now waiting on refund. Target honored the same price, works great!

    This was given to me as a gift I've had it for a week and only got it on the wall last night. I was a bear to get working with direct TV. I'm unable to get it working with my old Sony Bluray. For some reason, I can't get it to work. For the longest time, I was not able to get it working where I could both hear it and see it on the screen. I'm going to play with it for a while to see if I can get it all going together. I'm not overly impressed with the quality of the picture coming from DTV so will try streaming from Apple TV over the weekend to see if the picture quality improves. Nice size for my room. It is replacing an almost 10-year-old Sony Bravia 55" 3D unit, so it has high standards to achieve.

    Could be Brighter

    The peak brightness is less than that of the old plasma it is replacing. Also there is pretty significant dimming is all of the corners. That said, there is significant less glare on the TV, even though we have some large bright windows (was a big problem with the plasma). So for now the trade off is worth it.

    LOVE THE Picture BUT...

    This TV is a great value for the money. The Picture is great and I compared it side-by-side in the store with $2500 - $3000 models. Like other reviewers have stated the TV remote is cheaply made and the internal app's takes a few more seconds than normal to load (compared to phone/computer loading time).. Overall great buy, and I would purchase again if I needed another 70" TV :)
