    Best summer festival

by Awesome had such a great time on 8/28/23

Osheaga never lets me down. Despite Aya Nakamura’s absence (whoI really wanted to see live) We had such a good time and enjoyed, all the artists we liked and some new artists that are definitely going in my playlist.

Great experience, too many people for the space

    by JB on 8/14/23

It was a great show, plenty of amenities, no big line ups for all the food/drinks, bathroom were a bit of an issue considering it was always crowded. It was also a very long walk between stages.

    Awesome...problems with layout

    by Trinity on 8/10/23

The lineup was amazing! I went last year and found that the layout was much better. It was difficult to get between the main stages and the valley/green stages. There wasn't enough space for crowds to move smoothly so it wound up taking 20 minutes to get from one stage to another. Last year, I didn't have this problem.

    All smiles

by Connor The Man on 8/10/23

The walking wasn’t the best but what was i supposed to expect. I got multiple free waters from the security in front row and didn’t even have to ask for them. I am a bigger fellow and get hot easily but here it was amazing. The sprinklers throughout the shows was a very very good addition. I loved Osheaga and hope to come back to Montreal again soon. -Connor Jones from Winnipeg Manitoba

    Almost

    by FeelingFesty on 8/9/23

I am aware it is difficult for organizers to balance the increased cost of events in Canada, difficult zoning from the city of Montreal, as well as remain profitable. However, the layout of this festival was poorly designed for a sold out weekend! Too many squeeze points! Poor crowd control. Overflowing urinals. Very little green area. Waiting 1+ HR and paying $21 for 2 hot dogs, with the line merging into active crowd highway. The artists themselves were amazing (life-changing) but the festival logistics itself seems to be living in the afterglow of it's glory days. Will I return? Of course I am a sucker.

    Could be better

    by mtl_eh on 8/9/23

Festival line up was great, and was exactly as expected, however, bathrooms were dirty and missing toilet paper for the majority of the weekend, lines were at times extremely long. Very few hand washing stations that were like finding a hidden treasure…and then no soap. Mens urinals need to be moved out of main pathways because omg do those stink. Water refill and misting stations were a nice touch. Security lines were unbearable only because of the sun beaming down, water and shade should have been a safety priority while waiting. Main stage section also lacked shade. Food options were varied and appreciated. Space was an issue, and felt like a sardine even far back in the crowd or when navigating from stage to stage. I had a brief fainting spell due to overheating on Friday night and security/medics essentially had no way to cool me off. A lovely stranger fanned me down. Volume of music was at times too low Getting into the metro at the end of the evening is a nightmare, consider adding shuttles out to alleviate the burden on the single station, and allow people who do not have a metro ticket to purchase outside the station to reduce bottle necks. Thanks Osheaga, please fix these little things to make sure next year is better.

    A great weekend

    by Elodie on 8/9/23

It was a very good weekend for me and my friends. The line-up this year was insanely good and all the shows were really entertaining. We were a group of three underage girls, so it was really great to see a big amount of security, employees and police officers at the festival. The food was great, though a little expensive (which was expected). I would go again, depending on the artists that would come.

    Nice but…

    by Kev on 8/9/23

Would have been 100% more enjoyable with more shadow area. The sun was hot and most of the stages where in wide open area with no shadow whatsoever. It was very bad in that regard. And of course the only thing they didn’t let me come in with was sunscreen (because it was in spray). So yeah. For the rest, good music, beautiful people, great festival.

    Great event

    by Rachel on 8/9/23

Osheaga is amazing, but i think it should be a 18+ event as a lot of people do drugs and drink a lot
