My 6 year old daughter loves it! Especially this one that glows in the dark; which I thought the other colors did but they don't. They all light up from the inside, but the casing on this one additionally glows when the toy is off. 

Easy to operate, she literally taps the button twice and gets to it! She's so excited to show me what she catches.

If you stay in the same room, you typically catch the same kind of fairies, just different colors; so it forces you to kind of explore other parts of the house. “Dad, there's Diamond ones in the kitchen!” vs my her room.

My 5yr Old Daughter LOVES THIS!! Great Decor Too..

My 7 year old is in love with this Fairy Jar. She is all over the house trying to catch fairies. Each jar has 30 different fairies you can catch. You can feed the fairies. You can interact with each one, by talking to them. What the instructions say if you have a friend with a fairy jar you could interact with each other. This has kept her busy for hours. There are 2 ways to catch your fairies. The first way is by pressing the bottom button 2 times to get it to go in catching fairy mode, the other way is flipping the small lid on top of the jar and walk around in either mode. It will play a sound to let you know it is in that mode. When you hear like a soft dinging noise you have one and you would want to flip the lid that is up down. Upon doing that you will see the fairy come down on the screen. The right and left arrow button is to let you go through settings to interact with the fair, feed the fair or see your collection. Overall it did keep her busy for awhile which we loved. I would love to maybe get a second one for her older sisters to play with her.

Love it!!

My 6 year old daughter loves it. It has many sounds and lights are a great touch.
She has added it to her bed time routine, she plays for a bit before bed! It has a couple
challenging games and who doesn't love a cute fairy! I recommend it for older children
as it can be difficult to know the play modes.

Fun and cute!

We loved this fairy catcher, it was so much fun my my granddaughter. The only downside would be that you can only catch 30 fairies. But all in all a great buy!

My kids love their fairy jar. They try to find the different fairies in various areas like dark, under stuff, outside, and it's just so fun watching how excited they get when they catch one. There are so many fairies and in various colors. They also like interacting with them and the mini games on there. It's worth the money to see my kids use their imagination like this.

Innovative and adorable

It came in the box sealed, outside the manufacturer plastic bag - for those collectors that care about that.
The top red light was blinking so I know it works but the batteries were too far gone. I have you wait for batteries to arrive to play, keep that in mind. i suggest rechargeable batteries for yours. Research says it lasts 8-10 hours.
My photos show the glow on the jar and it looks better at night. the leaves and handle glow also.

I loved this toy! It's so cute and the lights are very bright at night. The fairies also look exactly like they do in the pictures. If you have a kid who's afraid of the dark, this feels like the perfect toy to help them get over that. You can totally turn off the sound and just use it as a very pretty night light. The fairy finder also has a game you can play. There's only one game, but catching fairies is so much fun that it more than makes up for it. There's also special fairies that you can catch by doing things like turning the jar upside down and it's really fun to figure that out. In front of four different adults and they were all obsessed with it. One of my friends described it as tamagotchi meets Pokemon go. I would have loved to have something like this as a child. I highly recommend getting this toy!

A Fairy Version of Tamagotchi

Very cute toy. It lights up with faires. My daughter likes to trade her fairies with her friends. It's a virtual toy. It's easy to set up and lasts a long time.

This was a Christmas present for our Granddaughter. But, she was more interested in her brother's Ninja turtle 🐢 even though she requested the Fairy Finder.

This Fairy Finder is a cute, unique toy. I wasn't sure how much my daughter would play with it or if it would bore her easily. Surprisingly, she played with it a lot the first few days. She took it all over inside and outside the house. Catching the same fairies began to bother her, even if they were a different color. So, she insisted on taking it with us in the car to see if she could catch different or rare fairies at other locations. Thankfully she did catch many different fairies, even one she thinks is a boy fairy. There are over 100 fairies to collect, but we are a little confused on how many fairies you can collect in one jar. If you purchase more than one jar, the fairies can be moved around from one jar to another. It does seem like she catches the same fairy over and over, but in a different color. If she has caught a rare or legendary, it would only be one or two. They seem difficult to collect especially since we don't go many places right now. I looked at the pics on the outside of the box to see what they had listed for some of the fairies, but I wish it came with a list of the different fairies. If you lift the lid on top of the jar you can talk to your fairies and say hi. Our fairies seem to sneeze and say "hello" a lot. The jar does look really cute when it lights up and changes colors. You can also feed your fairies, trade them with another friend's jar, or play games with them.

This is my sixth one (it's a Santa gift) and they all leak into the battery compartment and rust. Two have ARRIVED like that!
