The kids had a blast getting up every morning to help feed the emus and alpacas and chickens. The goose was a hit, especially when he stood guard over the big dog and charged them whenever you got close!

Z Ranch is a working ranch in the quaint little town of Templeton. Surrounded by vineyards with rolling hills and majestic oaks. The ranch has a variety of domestic and farm animals including alpacas. If your looking to get away from the city and get a breath of fresh air out in the country this is the place for you. The setting is in the country but still minutes from town, with amazing restaurants and wineries.
Here on the ranch we also offer trail rides along with an event space for weddings or any other event you would like to host in a magical country setting.
The ranch is close to attractions like Hearst Castle, museums, wine and olive tasting, Tin City, and numerous other activities.
