Patagonia’s Newest Collection Brings with It a New Type of Fleece

The Woolie Fleece line from Patagonia is warm, worn in and built from recycled fibers.

Approximately 75 percent of the staff at Gear Patrol has a Patagonia Synchilla fleece pullover. When the office temperatures drop, the fleece comes out. Beyond working in (some) office settings, Patagonia’s jackets and sweaters perform best outdoors, which is why you’ll often spot them on hiking trails and backcountry ski slopes. As Patagonia does, the brand updated its fleece fabric to make it more sustainable. The Woolie Fleece line is a blend of recycled wool, cotton and nylon. It reduces how many petroleum-based fibers are needed in other Patagonia products. You can expect the same styles and quality of pieces that Yvon Chouinard loves and wears daily, but with more of a sustainable background. The hoodie, pullover and reversible jacket are soft with a pre-washed and worn feel to them that most of us crave in the winter-time. We want to live in the below three products, but there are a variety of other colors and styles online today.
