  I bought these sneakers a week before I left for Japan. Wore them new, right out of the box, for the entire trip—3 weeks. We walked 6-7 miles each day and my feet never hurt. The shoes were wonderful, very supportive and stylish, too. People asked about me about my sneakers all the time. I have a wide foot, so I had to buy a size 9.5 instead of my usual 8.5-9. Nikes are small so I always have to size up and I generally can’t cinch the laces too tight. Even with socks, the fit was perfect and the comfort was unbelievable.

  I’m in love with the Air Max 97 style! They are the highest quality sneaker with the most unique design and I get compliments non stop while wearing them to my workouts. They definitely run a half size small. I am usually size 6 and I have to get 6.5 in all of my Nike sneakers. The best tip I have for selecting the right size is to look at the Inches size chart. A true size 6 = 9 inches. If you look at the sizing guide for these you’ll see 8 3/4 inches under size 6, and 9 inches under 6.5. I go by the inches, never just the size. Other than that, you won’t be disappointed!! Very comfortable and even though the shoe itself is on the heavier side, they don’t feel heavy while wearing them— I’m shocked they aren’t completely sold out yet. Highly recommend the air max 97!
