Hidden in the jungle of the Sierra Madre Mountains sits Palo Maria, a cascading hike featuring almost a dozen waterfalls. Most only hike to the first, but those willing to free rock climb can continue beyond!
What you’ll do
This is a 3-4 hour tour that includes hiking to a hidden waterfall, bus fare, photography & guided tour. We will start at the Pier in Puerto Vallarta at 8:30am and then take a bus to the trail head of Palo Maria waterfall. Once we arrive we will walk begin on the hiking path, then cross through the river several times to the waterfall. We will stay at the waterfall for about an hour before heading back on the bus for a short 15 min ride back to the old town Puerto Vallarta.
