DID YOU KNOW?

Only 10% of children in the U.S. get the daily recommended amount of vegetables and the majority of that is through french fries.

At Tiny, we’re on a mission to shape the palates of a generation to prefer and love vegetables from their earliest days. Tiny is the only vegetable first, low natural sugar option on the market.

Introducing the
first 100 flavors

Research shows the more flavors and textures you introduce in the first two years of your little one’s life, the more likely they are to become adventurous eaters. In our work with Tufts School of Nutrition & Policy, we’ve built a programmatic approach to childhood development where each core ingredient benefits a nutritional stage for your little one.

We take the guesswork out of what to feed your child and when by incorporating the right nutrients for your baby's and toddler's gut health, bone health, immunity and brain development.

Why Tiny?
image1
Variety is the spice of life

Tiny meals incorporate mild, easy-to-digest, baby-friendly spices to elevate the flavor profile–not the heat.

image2
Global flavors, delivered

Introduce your little one to different cultural meals: the Spanish flavors in our Valencian Paella, the French classic Ratatouille, and our new Native American Three Sisters recipe!

Keep it real

We only use real, healthy, whole foods that you can easily identify in every bowl. Tiny meals are never processed or concentrated.

Compatible with
Baby-Led Weaning

Instead of the parent choosing how much the baby eats, recent research suggests that if your baby has the ability to choose what and how much they eat, it fosters their independence, develops important motor skills and chewing abilities, helps them know their bodies and when they are full and decrease the possibility of picky eating later in life.

Whether you choose BLW or not (or opt for some combo of the two!) we believe that the decision you make is the right one. Tiny is compatible with both feeding styles as our meals are “mashy” enough to go utensil free, should you choose!

Recipes Backed by Science

All our meals were created by our executive chef and a team of in-house neonatal nutritionists and pediatric experts. Tiny is a proud partner of Michelle Obama’s Veggies Early and Often and a member of the Food and Nutrition Innovation Council at the Friedman School of Nutrition Science and Policy at Tufts University. Dariush Mozaffarian, MD, DrPH, professor at the Friedman School, is personally serving as Tiny's scientific advisor for the past three years prior to our launch.

When to Start Tiny

We recommend starting Tiny Organics with little ones who are 6 months and older.

Your little one may be ready for Tiny when they can:

Sit up independently and have complete head and neck control

image-2

Bring their hands to their mouth

image-3

Lean forward in the highchair and show interest in their food

Is gagging or choking a concern?

Current research shows that babies who are started on solids with finger foods (or “baby-led weaning”) are no more likely to choke on food than babies who are spoon-fed. As our long-time partner Jenny Best says, it is our strong opinion that babies who learn to self-feed a variety of textures early on become more skilled eaters and are less likely to accidentally choke or struggle with food as they grow older and begin to eat more challenging foods.
