Marine-grade plywood is often used in boat building, but it's important to choose the right type and ensure proper sealing and maintenance for optimal performance in a wet environment.

          What Customers Say
Summarized by generative AI from text of customer reviews

Customers say the product is marketed as marine-grade plywood but often falls short of expectations in water resistance and quality. While some users appreciate its smooth finish and solid construction for specific applications like RV floors, many express concerns about its tendency to delaminate when exposed to moisture. The pricing is noted as high, with some customers feeling it does not match the quality provided. Overall, while there are positive experiences, the product's performance in marine environments is a common point of contention.

As stated by others....barely marine grade.
I spent extra getting this versus ACX becauae i knew I was going to have to "shave" some thickness to fit my location. I bought thos because marine ply is not supposed to have knots and voids. All.the interior veneers are full of voids and knots. See my photo. At least in glassing over mine...but I would not buy this again, and hope HD finds a better vendor. I had to drive an hour to get this junk.

Not sure this was the right product when we got to the job site. The plywood did not look like it had been treated. But it was flat, and we needed to get started, and ended up using it.

            Good to a point
I agee with others that there are too many patches - that was not my main issue though. When I latex painted this $144 per sheet plywood, it bubbled up in places. Obviously there were places that did not receive any glue and the moisture in the paint caused the panel to expand and bubble up. I had to cut the areas out by hand and level them with wood filler. For this price, that is unforgiveable.
