The style is nice. It was not that difficult to assemble but the tool they sent didn't work to well. What is nice is that it has two levels of height so you can decide if you want it to be tall or lower. Mine was slightly damaged underneath, but it really didn't make a difference. I would but again.

Nice looking

This table was a perfect solution for an area we use for multiple things. We don't regularly eat outside due to our climate and wind/bugs etc so having a dining table seemed liked overkill. But of course when we have a party, people like to have a place to set their drinks or appetizers. We convert it to the table height on those occasions and it's super easy. 
Currently we use the lower height as a coffee table and have 4 rocker type chairs around it. Perfect, elegant solution.

Versatile!

I consider this little table to be a 'large bistro table'; it's not large enough to hold meals, beverages, and any excess decor BUT, it's fantastic for 2 people, their stuff and a couple of Adirondack chairs :) I couldn't find the matching chairs to the table and that's fine. The table is simple to adjust from jig to low and vice versa, one person can do it but 2 would make it easier. The low table is about coffee table height and the high table is a little shorter than average patio table height. The instructions are a little intimidating but after I opened my magnifier app I was good to go, took about 20 minutes, maybe. Comes with extra bolts and an umbrella hole cover if you need it.

We like it

So, this is the Mainstays Asher Springs Adjustable Table. It is a beautiful black table that can be used for dining or as a coffee table. It is a steel frame construction. It has an E-coated and powder coated finish for rust resistance since it will be staying outside all year round. The dimensions are length 39 inches by width 39 inches by height 18 inches. When it is raised, it lifts up to 26 inches. It took about 45 minutes to put it together even though it says it is easy to assemble in 30 minutes or less. I recommend doing it in the shade since the table is black and it gets hot in the sun. Oh my gosh, it weighs over 50 pounds. Right now, it is late March and just a few days ago it snowed and now it is in the 80s. So, I finally was able to use it outside to test it. I will set this up near my above outdoor pool when I set it up. But for now, I set it up in the yard although the grass is dead right now. It takes two people to lift the top up and turn it so it will be raised up. There are two poles that clamp to four clamps, so it is nice and steady. The table also has a hole so you can set up an umbrella. If you do not want to use one, they have a plug to cover it. This would look really nice with an outdoor L shape couch or just with some sling chairs like I did. I really like it, it is a gorgeous piece of outdoor furniture.

This table is beautiful! I love the black metal. It’s sturdy and pretty easy to put together. It can get heavy so I recommend two people but I think one person could do it. It took about 30 minutes to assemble with two people, and it is better than I expected. I love it! Converting from short to tall is so easy!! I love it.

Beautiful sturdy table!

Mainstay Adjustable table is beautiful and solid. The material used to construct the table is heavy and feels like steel or some type of heavy metal. The table has two heights - low for more of a coffee table feel or - high for eating or preparing a meal. To adjust the height to low for example, you will need two people to lift and turn 90 degrees then slowly lower down into grooves. The table was very simple to assemble, took me about 30 minutes. There is a hole in the center of the table for umbrella placement. The table is powder coated to withstand outdoor elements. This is very stylish table.

Perfect size and not difficult for one person to assemble.

Exactly what we needed

This high-quality, square, adjustable steel table is all black and is approximately 36” wide by 36” deep. When collapsed it stands about 18” tall but with the table expanded upward it is approximately 26” tall. This is a perfect patio or outdoor table that chairs/seating can be placed around it for entertaining guests. For normal, every day use, I place my plants on it to soak up the sun. To expand the table up, lift the top completely off the table, rotate it 90 degrees and align the sturdy clips onto the inside, lower bars to stabilize and level it. I can manage to move and/or expand it myself but it’s much easier with 2 people. The pieces are very well-built and the overall design is appealing but it was a challenge to assemble. A person that has dexterity challenges would have a really hard time putting it together. The pieces are heavy, bulky but require small spaces to insert/tighten the hardware. The hardware was difficult to get out of the packaging and the ratchet tool provided does not work well. I used my own tools. The table does show dust and water spots but rinses off easily when sprayed with water from a garden hose. If you need to clean it, do not use any solvents or chemicals on the surface; use water alone or add a little bit of mild dish soap.
