Best applied with a small firm brush dipped right into the container for better precision and unnecessary over use of product. Provides a firm hold without being crunchy or flaking . Just smooth hairline edges and keep flyaways and baby hair in place. Works well for smoothing over natural braids and ponytails as well.

I enjoyed how the product was easy to apply to hairs troubled areas (like edges around the face line & nap of the neck). No flakes, held up in humid weather. The scent of coconut is very light. Works even better when using other hair products from same line.

It does not feel like hard gel. Its feels actually nice and smooth leathery. Its definitely very healthy for my hair. As curly hair comes with tons of maintenance.  This is perfect my goto gel for any occasion. My curls remain curly for long time. I highly recommend this product to my family and friends.

This product was very thick and smelled very good it layyed my hair down pretty good only downside I had was the white residue when its on for awhile but that's common with most edge controls.

She has had a problem finding one that wasn't super sticky or one that leaves residue and flakes. Palmers coconut oil moisture boost edge gel has been a game changer for her. Palmers edge gel isn't sticky and gooey like some gels can be. It gives her great hold at her edges and smells great. This product actually works and does what it says. We will be using Palmers from know on!

Non sticky gel

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I enjoyed how the product was easy to apply to my edges, the great smell and it not creating build-up/flakes but it didn't hold up very well, especially in humid weather. The scent of coconut is very light but still enjoyable. I found it works even better with other edge control products.

Since I really like the Palmer's Coconut shampoo, as well as their protein conditioning pack, and how well they both moisturize, I was really looking forward to having this product as I hoped it would be an edge control that also moisturizes, but now I'm sorry that I purchased it. 

It's a very stiff pomade-like substance, and it left my hair very, very hard and stiff.
When I first applied it, it immediately made my hair hard, and I was actually afraid to smooth it down with a brush or comb as I thought my hair might break. 

Not only did it leave my hair stiff, the product is also very greasy/oily on the hair.  

I'll try another product and hopefully will have better results.

Made Hair Stiff/Sticky/Greasy

I was so excited to finally own a decent container of edge control to slay them edges, but to my disappointment after having used it for 2 days I realised it does not hold at All! For it's price I expected that it should do the job but unfortunately not. Previously I was using a cheaper brand which actually holds better than Palmer's edge control.
