We enjoyed this film very much. It’s so nice to watch a film and not hear or see the trashiness that most films today are loaded down with.
I am so glad they made a movie that is uplifting and inspiring. We need more of those. This is a great story and they did a really good job with it. Thanks.
The problem, though, is that American Underdog doesn't ever really connect the modest virtuousness of Kurt and Brenda to Kurt's ascension as a quarterback.
American Underdog is a film so disjointed, so boring and so deeply uninspiring that it is difficult to root for anyone, or even think of Warner as a genuine underdog.
The film is sanitized to the point of sterility.
