Easy install works great

I got the 6.6 sliding door hardware very fast after ordering. This is my first time attempting to assemble this product. From reading the instructions it looks fairly easy. The hardware is of very good quality and should last a while. There was no visible scratch which I am glad of. I think this product was well worth the buy. It was well within my budget.

Barn Door

Very well packaged, heavy duty and well made.  We had unusual dimensions so had to cut the rail down but still looks amazing. The rail is holding a 99.2lb barn door with no concerns

Good quality

Overall I am very happy with this purchase.  The parts were all well made and very heavy duty.  All of the hardware was included to mount this two different ways, either in masonry walls, or wood frame walls.  The quality of the hardware was also very good.  The finish on all the parts seems to be quite durable, and should last a long time.  I would buy this again if I need another barn door kit.  My only complaint about the entire kit was that the directions had measurements in both metric and standard.   The metric measurements were right on, and the standard inch measurements were close, but not quite...  I only discovered this after drilling holes in an expensive door slab...  Thankfully I was able to enlarge the holes slightly and make it work, and the roller brackets still covered the holes.  That is the only reason for four stars rather than five.  Overall a pretty solid product and I would recommend it, just be careful doing your layout!!!

The holes are not spaced to mount the rail every 16 inches. They are crazy 18,15,16 inches. So you have to mount a brace board behind which puts your door out further. I have it up but may send it back. The cheaper one sold by FDB is better.

Best on mounting board unless your wall is solid.
