The fireplace is wonderful. I did have a different insert put in mine but the one that came with the mantle looked good and fit perfect! Everything was just as nice as the picture!

Would buy again!

This is a great deal . The only downfall is like everyone else says , the small screws.  So you will need your own . The ones that come with it are worthless . Other then that this is a great fireplace . It stands 43 inches tall . Comes with a remote and a great deal !

Great fireplace

I absolutely love this fireplace! Its exactly what I was looking for. I love the bright white color and the height of this fireplace is a steal for the price. Its 47 inches tall and most that tall are well over $600. Puts off a lot of heat! We use it without the heat as well just for the beautiful flames! They look so real! The remote control is very convenient as well. The assembly aspect was a little tricky but not too difficult. Overall extremely pleased and would definitely purchase again!

This is fabulous! Nice size, although it measures at 43" H and not 47"H  as advertised.
I too have some gaps, not sure how to tighten the frame to avoid that, but it's not that noticeable unless you look. I might go back and redo it if it bothers me too much.
I took note of the other reviews and had a drill bit ready, but I just used it to widen the holes for the small screws. There were numerous small holes that I didn't need. But I did need to drill holes for the two brackets that hold the firebox in. Instructions were really clear and if I could have moved my 53-year-old body easier on the floor, I probably could have put it together in 30 mins.
It looks gorgeous! I purchased it for $308.00 plus tax and it was well worth it. I can always distress it later or add some faux stone or stain if I feel like it, but for now it really suits my bedroom and the ambience is terrific! I haven't tried the heat yet.
I feel like the issues were limited and will not affect my enjoyment. I would purchase it again. And I would make sure not to tighten anything before it was all together (before the firebox goes in, though as that gets in the way).

Fabulous solid piece for the price.

It's beautiful! It arrived really quickly, but it's heavy, it'll take two people to bring it in (or you'll have to “walk” it in). In my opinion you NEED a drill to assemble it (some screw holes aren't pre-drilled) and it takes a little time to put together by yourself. Overall it's really pretty and you can't beat the price ($250 total) for its height.

Beautiful Fireplace

Overall the fireplace is amazing for the price, the reason for not giving it 5 stars is that the screws that came with it are useless and kept breaking and we had to go to the hardware store to get proper screws. If you can get over that this fireplace is very nice. The flames are not the realest looking but it does not bother me, love the remote and putting it together took about an hour with two people. Honestly it looks like I paid 900 for it.

Expensive looking

I took me a few hours to pit this together.  Easy but some holes weren't pre drilled so I have to go in and do some touch ups. It did arrive damaged in one spot. Is it worth the price tag....yes but will you have to put some elbow grease in too...yes.

Amazing quality....hard work

It is pretty heavy, would need help bringing it inside, taller than I expected which is nice, very pretty, came packaged well, were a few minor dings but nothing I can't live with, it took a couple hours to put together with my handy nephew helping, had all the parts, only complaint is the included screws are junk, if they were better quality, would have went together easier, ended up using different screws for some parts that I thankfully had laying around. Instructions were ok, could be better.

Overall happy with my purchase for the price

Ok so, it was easy to assemble, for us, two people. But came with so many dents and imperfections. I didn't want to return it so we made it work, plus we leave in a rural area far from most of the things, and it was gonna be a hassle to return.

I was excited. I have 2 fireplaces that I've put together and I have to return. This is the 3rd I've purchased in 3 weeks because the others, heat was not good and the brightness was horrible. The box arrived downstairs at my neighbors. It was all banged up. So the first thing I did before building another one for no reason, was check the firebox. I liked it. So I was super excited. After taking out piece by piece out in the cold, because I could never carry this box upstairs, there's multiple pieces with paint coming off and cracks. Highly visible cracks. It's like they didn't even run a quality check before boxing it up. The sad thing is, I really wanted this one to work out. I wanted to have for the holidays especially. I still have 2 big heavy fireplaces to return. I really did not want to have to return this one too. It's not very convenient. Can I buy or get replacement parts? This looks bad. What can be done?
