Rated 1 out of 5 by from Disappointed in quality - faulty battery I purchased a combo kit with a m18 xc5.0 2020/01. I noticed about a year ago that the battery was no longer charging and would flash green and ready as faulty. I thought nothing could be done. I have been using my cp2.0 since. I have been finding it isn't holding as much a charge any more. My friend recommended to me over Easter, I reach out and see if Milwaukee will stand by their product and workmanship. I am a casual user and almost hardly use the battery. Stored inside my closet at ideal temperatures. The most strenuous thing this is used for is changing tires a few times a year, This is terrible quality. I am very disappointed and hope Milwaukee will stand by the product and send a replacement.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Terrible Battery life I don’t know if I got a faulty battery, but I bought the M-18 blower and this battery. Pulled it out of the package and charged it fully. Went outside in -5C and after 10 min of blowing a slight dusting of snow it was dead. Fully recharged same thing. 10 min max and battery is dead. I wouldn’t consider this to be extended charge….

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Great when they charge I ended up returning the first ones I purchased because one of them wouldn’t charge no matter what I did. Unfortunately both of the second ones after the exchange did the same thing. I ended up trying every combination of mounting the battery then plugging in or unplugging the charger or unplugging then unmounting the battery and after randomly doing this for about 3 minutes, I finally managed to get the batteries to start charging. They have worked fine after the initial headache.

Rated 2 out of 5 by from Battery is great , store had some issues Despite the store showing a stock of 7 went to 6 when i ordered the 1st attempt to buy was canceled because store couldnt find it , but i did save money by getting it on sale when i did buy and store stock was back at 7. This is all the store issue nothing is wrong with battery it works EXCELLENT much better than the compact batteries. I would reccomend getting this as a slightly cheaper option to the 5.0 battery and up

Rated 1 out of 5 by from 3 batteries useless after 6 months I got these 2 around Christmas time and about a month ago now both batteries flash red like they are completely dead and when I put them on the charger the charger instantly goes green like they’re fully charged but nothing has changed they still stay dead, I also bought a 3rd one separately in March and on that one it works but it has cracked where the top and bottom housing pieces meet at the back where the screws are, and I cannot use it as it will keep falling apart, the two screws on the back have been stripped out and it’s cracked around the screw holes, I’ve always taken care of them and kept them stored and charged, and I don’t feel that 3 of these batteries of this price and quality should have been causing me issues so quickly, as two are only about half a year old and the other one is 4 months old so if there’s anything Home Depot or Milwaukee can do to help me that would be great as I need them to do my job, thank you

After one of the original batteries wore out from extensive daily use, I decided to purchase this dual battery kit. These batteries are identical to the originals and work perfectly. The price is reasonable, and I’m very satisfied with my purchase.

I have the 2.4 aH 18 Volt NiCd pack. If I buy this one, will my NiCd charger be able to charge this Li-Ion pack?

I don’t believe so, NiCd batteries are very different and require different input voltages to charge than Li-ion
