Rated 3 out of 5 by from It does the job It does the job, however leaks alot of smoke/heat out of the lid you will need to buy a seal for the lid to keep heat and smoke in and make it air tight, also the paint on the lid of the small grill/firebox peeled off from the heat after 4th use they dident use good quality high heat paint, however you get what you pay for compaired to the 300$+ offsets, it will last a summer or two, dont expect this to be a long lasting bbq. Here for a good time not a long time. However great for first time charcoal/smoker experiance to test out if its for you before you invest top dollar in an expensive smoker/offset

So, after waiting a month for Home Depot to send this BBQ, finally decided to go to the store to buy it, was unable to cancel the other order after being told it had been cancelled, so will be having to return that one once it's here... But that's beside the point... Lighting this BBQ for the first time tonight... And it is a HUGE DISAPPOINTEMENT!!!! The paint is chipping off the BBQ from the heat!!!! First time using it.. Really? BBQs will get hot, they should be able to withstand heat, that's basically they're one job!! So there, DO NOT BUY THIS BBQ!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Rated 3 out of 5 by from Paint peeled, rusting in less than 2 weeks I am giving this 3 stars because it was inexpensive for sure, but boy the quality is low. I bought this less than 2 weeks ago, the paint has peeled off the fire box, and there is noticeable rust there - less than 2 weeks! I've only done 2 cooks on it, and I controlled the heat well! Having said that, it's cheap (and I got it on sale, lessening my annoyance), and you can definitely make nice food on it if you're careful with the temperature. I briefly looked at other reviews, and the people giving it 5 stars.. what on Earth? I understand you got this "as part of a promotion" whatever that means, but come on - this is a crappy but very cheap offset, there's no universe where 5 stars should be given to this.

Rated 2 out of 5 by from bad manufacturing I put mine together the other day, the BBQ lid and smoker cover and drawer were all a bit warped so it doesn't shut properly. When bbqing it works fine but because of the lids the smoker can't maintain heat. Well you can get warranty parts but how long does that take especially during the virus, also the parts should be OK our at least I think they should. I will bite the bullet and maybe figure out how to maintain heat in the smoker if I can't no smoker. I would not recommend this to anyone save your money or get a differnt one.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Sooooo Disappointed!!! I am writing on behalf of my husband, who is currently putting our ribs in the oven because his coveted Nexgrill smoker is incredibly flawed. He has a small Nexgrill gas grill which he loves. My brother in law has a large gas grill, which he also loves. My husband was so excited as he got this new smoker ready to use today. The parts do not seem to be manufactured very well. The lid doesn't seal on the grill so it can never reach the temperature required and the vent control on the smoker box heats up so much it bends and is jammed in place so air can't be controlled. He has used up an entire bag of charcoal and they are not close to done. We purchased it at Home Depot, London, Ontario, Fanshawe Rd. and they are not accepting returns due to COVID-19. So, at this point we are stuck with a smoker that doesn't work due to manufacturing. My husband says so many good things about his small gas grill and recommends your products to everyone! I have never seen him so disappointed by something he felt very strongly about, product wise.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Great starter charcoal grill Amazing first charcoal starter bbq! We wanted to try one without spending too much to see how we liked it versus propane. The flavour of food is better and actually easier once you get the hang of it. The BBQ is well made, easy to put together and the smoker works really well. Only issue is the metal is a bit thin and it doesn’t hold heat as well as I could see a more expensive one holding. All in all, a great starter charcoal grill and smoker.at a great price!
