Pardon the pun, but it does exactly what it says on the tin. Releases the final pressure in a used Weber 445g propane / butane cartridge (which certainly appear to be identical to a Coleman C500 cartridge) and punctures it, rendering it safe for recycling

This does exactly what it sets out to do.The cylinder soon become safe to dispose of in recycling plants.
Simple and effective. Worked fine with my non-jetboil canisters.
