Ease Of Installation

This is a very nice pressure washer. I like the electric start although sometimes if the motor fires once or twice but does not start, the starter motor spins for about 10 seconds and you cannot try to start again until it stops. Not a big issue, just one quirk. The hose hanger kinds sucks.I don't use it. 
The pressure sprayer wand works well. I like the trigger, but the shape of the handle caused a blister on my thumb knuckle. Picture attached. This caused me to wear gloves while using it.
All in all, it is a nice machine.

THIS is my 3rd machine I had 2 machines previously for my 15 year HANDYMAN Business THE held up like gold. No complaints here. Now retired I bought another one electric start for around the house to use for different reasons and in my hobby of auto and truck restoration. IF THEY WERE JUNK BELIEVE ME I WOULD NOT BE AFRAID TO SAY THAT ALSO. BUT WHEN SOMETHING IS QUALITY AND A GOOD DEAL FOR MY HARD EARNED MONEY I WILL PROMOTE IT ALL DAY LOSO THATS MY STORY AND IM STICKING TO IT. NG.

[Nice machine for the price

Worked great , easy on gas and well put together , this is the second Generac purchase as I own a generator for the past 10 years so I knew it was a good company .

Perfectly clean

Would give this 5 stars, but after the 3rd use, water started streaming out from the water pump. Found that three of the bolts that hold the water pump on had vibrated loose and allowed the water to damage the seal. Sent a support message to Gererac but have not heard back from them yet. Really like the unit and hoping to see Generac stand by their product by fixing the issue under warranty. I've only had the unit for 6 months.

Love the look and performance, but poor QC control from factory

I have had the pressure washer for 2 years, I really like this pressure washer, starts easy with the battery or the pull cord. The dial on the handle allows for several different pressures. 
Need to make sure you have a 90 degree spout for your gas can or the gas will spill out. 
I am 5'10” the handle needs to either be adjustable or longer, trying to guide the washer and maneuver it's makes it difficult to pull, go down steps, or push.

Short handle

The set up instructions aren't very good. The worst example, I had to assume the oil capacity was 16oz(the total of the included oil). I couldn't find anywhere it said how much oil it uses. Turns out that was too much. The unit was impossible to start the first time. Had to use starter fluid. Black nozzle is the only one that sucks the detergent, Had to figure that out on my own.
The location of the battery compartment is in a bad spot...right under the water connections....make sure it's closed before unhooking the water. Once it finally started, it worked as it should. Love the electric start!!

Love the electric start - poor set up instructions/hard to start first time

Just received this model.  Love the electric start and machine operates well.  The only issue I had was with the detergent reservoir.  One of the mounting rivets was not installed correctly and the reservoir is now only attached on one side.  Small issue and I'll do some type of shop fix to correct this problem.

Recommend this product

Hi, i have a 5 yo 3100, manual start, but have garage stored, and maintained impeccably. This year, use approxmately 9 times, the aluminum on the pressure head was cracked, and now requires replacement. I've only used water, so I can't say that chemicals / detergents, resulted in the breakdown of the aluminum. Expected more from the unit.

Absolute Junk.  Cant even locate parts to fix this piece of garbage.  Used it 3 times to wash cars and clean a driveway and now it will not start or run.

Junk

I've had this 3 years now and used it 5 times.  I've TRIED to use it several more times and absolutely cannot get it to start.  The electric start is a joke.  I can't pull the cord to start it so I'm stuck with something I can barely use.  It's always a guess if I hook it up -  “will it start today or not?”  Usually NO.  The fittings leak, the hose is very stiff and overall it's just a bad design.  At this point I'm ready to buy a plug in electric pressure washer.  I can't believe Generac still sells this piece of junk.
