I first used this product six months ago.  After vacuuming the wood surfaces, then cleaning them ( both with the floor cleaner and rinse mop), I let the floors thoroughly dry (very important), I applied the high gloss polish.  It won't down easy in long strokes with a microfiber sweeper mop.  The finish was beautiful and lasted for six months.  I repeated the process six months later and it went down even easier.  A bit expensive,  but totally worth it.

When we first moved in to our house, I used the Swiffer Spray Wet Mop for hardwood floors in the office (pictured below). I have very shiny glossy finished floors. The Swiffer cleaner literally took the gloss off the floors in those two rooms. I was devastated and didn't use that cleaner again. A friend of the family (who owns a flooring company) suggested we try Bona Hardwood Floor Cleaner, and I bought the high gloss polish to try as well. My husband I went out and bought some today and did this room a few hours ago. I am so please and excited to say that those products have fixed the mess that the other cheaper cleaner did and I thought ruined my floor. This is the after picture and I will never ever use any other products again. For 8 months I have tried other products and thought my beautiful floors were ruined! My beautiful glossy finish is back! Bona products are the way to go!!

Brought my glossy shine back!

Just used this. Floors looks beautiful. My wood was dry and wearing. I was hesitant because of the negative reviews, but glad I tried for myself! I cleaned my floors first with wood cleaner. Then applied the hardwood polish.

Nice shine

I have newer dark hardwood floors and used this polish to get rid of some of the scratches. I followed the instructions on the bottle and so far it looks great. In application you need to make sure you are applying a good amount of the polish to keep the applicator soaked. I made sure I did the sweeping motion with the grain and tried not to pull the applicator off the floor as much as possible. Before application I swept and thoroughly cleaned the floor.

This product looked great for several months, but the kitchen has developed foot marks and I cannot find a product which will remove this polish. Ace Hardware has cut back on products and only has the floor cleaner, which is not for waxed/polished floors!

Hard to remove!

Do not use!!! No matter how u apply this polish it will leave streaking and a milky colored residue. Check out Amazon for all the negative reviews with this product.

Horrible

I too used Bona Hardwood Floor Polish on my brand new (5 months old) wood floors. Some areas looked great while other areas were completely streaked and wouldn't even out. I tried Bona Cleaning Pads in the hopes of removing the polish only to get a cloudy and still streaked finish that I cannot remove. One of the previous reviewers mentioned foot and dog prints now being visible, that is the case on my floors as well; never had this problem until I used the Bona products. I will try the Bona Polish remover and if that does not work, I will NEVER recommend Bona. I am just sick that my beautiful, new floors look so bad.

I follow every instruction and saw a lot of videos before putting this awful product on my floor! Now it looks dirty, cloudy, sticky and ruined! If anyone knows how to remove it I would appreciate it

Worst product ever!!!! DONT USE IT!

Comsistent with many of the other reviews I have used Bona products to clean my wood floors for years. I am getting ready to sell the house so I decided to try the polish to add some shine to the floors. Bad idea!  As you can see in the photo the floors look bad, really bad. Followed the instructions and ended up with a big mess. Hopefully there is a way to lift this off my floors.

BEWARE

I bought this product and could not wait to see my floor look like new again.  

I read and followed all directions.  I cleaned the floor with Bona cleaner (which I love) and then applied liberally in small sections.  I did one room just to see how it turned out as the small spot I did seemed fine.  I'm so glad I did because I will NEVER use this product again.  You can see the exact spots where I stopped.  
There is now a cloudy residue all over the floor.

I would NOT recommend this product at all!
