not $200 good
||Posted . Owned for 1 month when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. The sound is decent and the fact you can have bluetooth and the Series X connected at same time is really nice. They are comfortable. Cons: They don’t always get loud enough for some games. They disconnect on the series X due to their new controller causing issues. (patch is coming according to microsoft support) For how much these cost i expected so much more. They’re good but not $200 good

Great Sound and Comfort with Some Audio Flaws
||Posted . Owned for 1 month when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. The audio quality for games is great and the ear pads are super comfortable and breathable. I play a lot of apex legends so these definitely help in those intense situations. The battery life on them is good for wireless gaming headset but honestly they need to be charged pretty often. My favorite part about these is the dual connection so I can play fifa or other games with my own music on in the background. Music actually sounds pretty great in these too! My biggest annoyance is the wireless connection issues. Within a couple of weeks I was getting audio cut outs while playing any game. I searched online for more info and learned it has to do with wireless interference from other devices. That’s a pretty big flaw especially now that most of our tech is wireless. I reset them and the probably has gone away for the most part but every couple of days I do get some audio cut outs. Overall I really do like these and would recommend them.

Better than I thought and I was expecting the best
||Posted . Owned for 2 months when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. In my humble opinion as a gamer of consoles like Xbox for 15 years I have been through em all.. I know what your thinking, can a headset be with this much money?... Yup lol. Definitely, I used Turtle Beach Recon 70 Wired b4 these and OMG I had no idea C.O.D. sounded so amazing. The sound of reloading or know exactly what direction an enemy is. I'm mad I waited so long to upgrade. The wireless function is amazing as well. The battery last for days and the Voice Chat / Game Volume Mixer wheel on the left ear cup is perfect for any game but especially C.O.D. and master volume wheel on the right. LIGHT UP Mic when you hit the mute button with u always forget is on lol. Recommend and would buy again in a heartbeat. Look for black Friday deals y'all. PEACE OUT

Better Late Than Never
||Posted . Owned for less than 1 week when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I’ve had the original XBox and Razer Kraken headphones, which were good in their own right...but these are far superior. You get what you pay for, that may be the only gripe...they’re expensive. These connect wirelessly to the XBox One flawlessly and sound amazing. They are fully customizable on the computer as well. I haven’t had any problems yet...I highly recommend.

Love them. Way better than my turtle beach
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Wish I would have never wasted my money on turtle beach head sets. Went through 3 of the stealth 7 for x box in a year. With the Arctics I haven’t had any issues and love the sound and comfortable don’t have a bad thing to say about them just yet at least. Highly recommend these for any gamers

Headphones
||Posted . Owned for 1.5 years when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Had these for years great products only weird thing is they turn off sometimes randomly when they first connect and when I connect them to my console and laptop they disconnect but 98% of the time they are fine great dual audio headphones and they work connected to anything with Bluetooth

Feels great on my head. Thats where the fun stops.
||Posted . Owned for 5 months when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.About the only thing this headset has going for it is that its expensive and is comfortable. Outside of that, its crap. I purchased the headset on July 30th 2020. Ive had nothing but horrible connection issues with the Xbox One S and X, Xbox Series X, and the Xbox USB adapter, as well as with Bluetooth. Crackling, cutting out, and out right disconnecting... let alone the atrocious range. Line of sight is about the best I get and that's maybe 10 feet at best. Ive had nothing but issues with this headset. Even after the latest firmware update, I sill continue to have issues and SteelSeries refuses to acknowledge the issues let alone placate us by saying they are even working on it. To top this all off... I went to put on my headset a couple of days ago and heard plastic floating around in the right side. I pulled the headset off and to my surprise the plastic around where the hinge is, is broken. 6 Months and the hinge breaks at the weak spot. What makes matters even worse, aside from not being the only person on the internet with the issue, SteelSeries refuses to help either by RMA'ing the headset and or at least offering to let me buy parts to fix it myself. So now I'm stuck with a $200 pile of garbage. I took a chance on the headset because after reading all the reviews and watching all the review videos on YouTube. Someone said, give it a chance. So I did. I should of listened to all the people complaining on Reddit, YouTube, and basic review sites. But hey, SteelSeries got there $200 out of me, they don't owe me anything. I guess I'm going back to Turtle Beach. At least my Stealth 600 v1 lasted a few years before falling apart and had MUCH better range and connectivity.

Q: QuestionReally interested in this headset but I'm very, very, very worried about all of the reviews I'm seeing from all over the internet about how it won't stay connected to the Xbox and it's been said to have happened 20 mins in to even months later. Skeptical.
Asked by Austin.
- A:Answer I can confirm this, and found the culprit: it connects on the same 2.4 wireless signal. If your set up is close to your WiFi modem, good luck. 10+ feet away? You should be good. I returned mine and will wait to see if they release a patch later. I’ll, without hesitation, get them again. They are amazing when they work.

Q: QuestionSo I took my the headset by a microwave and it just turnt off and won’t turn back on any fix? I’ve already pressed the reset button many time.
Asked by Anonymous.
- A:Answer Honestly my only idea is you have a older style microwave and the electromagnetic waves cause the motherboard to either lose connection or fried the drivers. I would just get a new microwave before a new headset

Q: QuestionCan these be used on two different devices at the same time? I want to plug into my Xbox for game audio and also plug into my PC to talk to friends.
Asked by Otto.
- A:Answer yes they can. im playing COD talking to my friends on live and at the same time playing music on my laptop all through bluetooth. if you're pc does not support bluetooth which we are in 2020 all pc's should, you would need to buy the xbox wireless adapter which goes for around 25 bucks

Q: QuestionSo I just bought the headset it is amazing worth the money but I was curious if when you buy it does it come with its own warranty instead of buying the two-year warranty from Best Buy?
Asked by Joe.
- A:Answer Has a 1 year warranty from the manufacturer

Q: QuestionIs this headset worth getting if i use them for Xbox i see a lot of bad reviews?
Asked by Anonymous.
- A:Answer Yes I just got them, they work well with the Xbox and only the Xbox. The people that are writing bad reviews are def using it on their PC which doesn’t connect very well which is true! I tried them on my PC they work but have connectivity issues, but if you are using them only for the Xbox the quality is AMAZING. I had the hyper X before them and they are good but these are def worth it and are better. BUY!

Q: QuestionCan I use the headset wired? Like plug it into the controller and be able to hear the game and use the microphone like a regular non wireless headset?
Asked by Josh.
- A:Answer According to the SteelSeries support site you can use a 3.5mm to 3.5mm to hear audio but no mic support. Wire is not included. Have to either use Bluetooth or an Xbox Dongle or Xbox console for mic support. https://support.steelseries.com/hc/en-us/articles/360027273532-Features-and-User-Manual
