My husband uses this on the sidewalks and driveway around our home. It is easy to use and works great. After I had 2 hip fractures in as many years it is a must for us. Although the fractures happened inside our home, we don't take any chances with the outside now. This stuff works great and doesn't leave any mess to clean up afterward. It really works on melting the ice and snow, especially the ice.

Great for keeping sidewalks and driveways safe.

Product works as described. Melted ice %26 snow on walkway quicker than I expected. Bought at Bristol Ct store %26 upon opening, discovered half the bag was large clumps. Had to bring outside %26 pound it with a hammer. I assume product was kept outside at one point %26 bags are not waterproof. Buyer beware! Check bag before purchasing.

we couldn't even use it, it is hard as a rock. how are you suppose to sprinkle it over ice when its a giant hard block! we even tried breaking it with a hammer with still no luck. dont waste your time or money, i bought a different brand after seeing every pallet is exactly the same

Entire 40 pounds were huge blocks of salt that would not break apart. Completely useless and a waste of money. Walmart required us to return it to the store to get a refund which is absurd.

I'm very disappointed it seems like I try to buy a lot of things there and then not in stock. Do not put them there if they're not in stock or right on them, not in stock, it usually does and it did not tell me it was not in stock and it was something that I really needed, so it should say right down below not in stock. Usually if I buy a donut, it says not in stock, so what's up with everything else? I tried  to order rock salt and it said it's not in stock, but it doesn't say that online so you guys need to fix that

ordered online for upcoming snow storm. Picked it up at pick up area. They put 3 bags into my truck. Go to use and its one giant block. Even a hammer wouldnt break it up. Pure garbage and it went through several employees hands before I got it yet still sold it.

I bought 2 bags at the Walmart near where I work, brought it home. My husband questioned the packaging since it was so tightly sealed but wasn't concerned.

About 2 weeks later we needed to salt since it snowed and we couldn't use it, it was hard as a rock, we weren't able to use it. He tried breaking it with a hammer to no avail.Very disappointed that money was spent on a product that we can't use.

All of the icemelt came in terrible condition. It was in big chunks from getting wet. Probably it was left outside in the rain.  It had to be chopped with a shovel and ice chopper tool before it could be used. This also was wasteful, as it couldn't be spread out or put in buckets for indoor storage. The unopened bags will be returned!
